Hi ladies! :flower:

Please share what you're reading right now :) Or if you've just finished a good book I'd love to hear what it was!

Now that I have a lot more time on my hands I think I'll get back into reading while I still have the time :winkwink:

I'm reading through Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series... for about the third time :winkwink: If you haven't read them, they should keep you busy for about a year! There are seven (big, fat) books in the series and an eighth coming out soon I believe.

I'm trying to read a very accidental love story, but the main character is just awful. I really want to give up on it.

Next on my list is Emily Giffin, Where we belong.

I haven't just read it, but I reccomend Life of Pi..... brilliant book and they're bringing a film out this yr too x

Also, if you like gruesome stuff Battle Royal is the original Japanese, more gruesome, better! version of the Hunger Games :)

Ive just finished Casual Vacancy - very different to Harry Potter! Im not reading something which was free download on amazon, its crap!

I've just started Thursdays in the park, I bought it for my mum last week and she is enjoying it, I saw that is was only 20p on kindle store so downloaded it :)

Reflected in you :D! Its the book after bared to you kinda like 50 shades x

Currently reading The Better Mousetrap by Tom Holt.

Just finished Angels in my Hair by Lorna Byrne which was really good.

At the moment I am re-reading 50 Shades. I read it earlier this year, and after I finished re-reading the twilight series (in prep for the new movie) I missed the grey's. :D

Blue Eyed Boy by Joanne Harris. Not sure whether I like it or not. I haven't been able to put it down but the same time it bores me a little and it's infuriating because the author is just playing a game of cat and mouse with you and doesn't make the slightest bit of sense plot wise until 400 pages in. It is so interesting though, and so very cleverly written.

Same. The style is completely different but it took me about 100 pages to get used to the language. Like I say, different.

I love all Cecelia Ahern books. Fantastic.

I was bought all Charles Dickens books for my birthday so I'm about to start them. I really want to read Great Expectations before Tuesday when I go see it. I have no life, lol, so shouldn't be a problem. I can read a full book in a day. Like I say, no life.

I'm currently reading Baby-Led Weaning in preparation for weaning my LO in January.

Fiction wise I love Diane Chamberlin (sp?)

xx

I just finished reading Life after Death by Damien Echols, it was a really great book.

Finished A Street cat named Bob by James Bowen which is fantastic. I'm just about to finish Meet me under the mistletoe by Abby Clements - it's better than I thought it was going to be.. Christmassy & addictive :)

I've just finished private London by James Patterson and am now reading private games by the same one.

I love James Patterson because the chapters are so short I can have a quick read without having to leave it halfway through a chapter... God that bugs me!

Currently reading The Thirteen, by Justin Cronin, its the 2nd in a trilogy! The first book is called The Passage and its amazing. the genre according to wiki is "Apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic fiction, horror, science fiction, vampire fiction, fantasy, dystopian fiction" lol!

I've got 2 on the go - The Cup of Ghosts by Paul Docherty and the Fabric of the Cosmos by Brian Greene.

The first is a standard fiction book thing and the second is on particle physics, I hate my brain getting bored!!

I'm juggling about 5 books mostly about cardiology as that's where I work! Argh they're hard going :(
Eta I only read for fun on holiday
