After my 8th miscarriage I have so much anxiety about getting pregnant again and having another miscarriage.
We are TTC again and my constant prayer is that I will only get pregnant with a baby I can keep. I don't care how long it takes as long as I don't end up with another loss.
Idk if it's healthy or not, but to curb my anxiety I have been going deep down the rabbit hole of OTC (as I have a Dr who can't/won't even run a recurrent loss blood panel on me and it's a year long wait to get in to see a specialist so I am on my own trying to figure things out) methods that may help with a successful pregnancy.
I have just learned of the antihistamine protocol (Claritin, benadryl and pepcid) and have started that today, and have also just started taking low dose aspirin.
I have taken low dose aspirin previously through a pregnancy after 4 consecutive losses (but then went and had a successful pregnancy where I didn't do *anything* and haven't used it since through 3 more miscarriages.)
I will also be using progesterone cream when I get a BFP - I don't think progesterone is my issue but I stopped using it at 9 weeks with my last pregnancy and my baby passed between 11 and 12 weeks (I didn't know until I miscarried at 14 weeks) and now I have a mental connection between stopping it too soon and fetal demise.
I also went to weekly acupuncture in the first trimester with my son after 4 losses, and while I can't afford weekly visits this time around, I plan to go twice a month for longer whenever I do get pregnant again.
So the TL;DR version:
1. Antihistamine protocol
2. Low dose aspirin
3. Progesterone cream
4. Acupuncture every two weeks.
If anyone has anything else to add I'd love to hear it.
