So I was just wondering....
What does everyone plan on wearing when you go into labor?
or what have those you have been in labor worn?
I honestly dont know what I want or can be able to wear.
the hospital gown looks and is so uncomfortable

probably just a hospital gown, and ill bring a robe to throw over it if i want to walk around.

well i wore a really comfy top and blue jeans and they made me Change into a hospital gown :( so for this baby a hospital gown

I think probably a hospital gown if I don't have a waterbirth x

I just wore an old nighty to give birth in then after had a shower and put my pjs on x

Once i got took down to delivery suite i put on a nitie, it only cost a couple of pound, it got thrown away after! x

I had it all planned out until my contractions went from bearable to unbearable. I had a baggy jumper from newlook on when i went into labour - with leggings i took them off when i got to the hosp for them to do an internal then i point blank refused to put on a gown or my nightie, i have no idea why. Then once i had the pethedine all i wanted to do was sleep so it was impossible to get it off then and by the time the pethadine wore off i had started to push so i didnt even end up getting changed. The jumper did come down near to my knees i wasnt flashing everyone my bits lol!!! It got ruined though, and i was damn hot lol. Get changed before you think you need to is my advice lol.

I think a nightie in the early stages then nude when I am in the pool.

I planned to wear a nightie... In the end I had my top and a pair of knickers she was too quick xx

i'm hoping for a waterbirth so probably just a bikini top in the pool as i think a top sticking to me would just make me more uncomfortable

if i can't have a water birth then probably just a baggy top or nighty :)

I wore a nursing nightie because I wanted to feed her easily straight after and wanted skin to skin without having to strip so it was a strappy one. It got a little bit of blood on it where she was passed to me but it washed off.

i wore a hospital gown and plan to again.

hospital gown for me. that way i dont have to worry about getting my own clothes bloody etc etc and it just seems like the simplest option, one less thing to worry about packing in my hospital bag..xx

I asked my Dr if I could wear my own gown, and she said I could but that it will probably get messy before I even get to the pushing part and that I should just wear the hospital gown anyway.
