What are your themes/colors?

I either want to be married in a barn thats been redone, a animal conservacy, or somewhere else. Im constantly looking. Do you have any ideas?

What is your color scheme? I am going to use Yellow and Blue..

What is your dinner/breakfast preference? I would love to get married in the late evening or at night. And would love just to not have a stuffy formal thing. Just casual bbq sort of style.

What day is the blessed day? I would love to get married on my anniversary. July 27th.

Dress type? My dress type an A-line type, is a sleeveless/strapless dress made with Organza.

Hairstyle? Mines going to be like a side swept updo. I dont like traditional types really. I wish I could post links!

Unity Candle or Sand? I actually would like to use Sand.. just for something different!

Anything else you want to ask about or suggest for me? I would love to hear it!

We are getting married in an old mill, which has been converted into a hotel.

We are having an autumn wedding and our colours are burgundy and ivory.

My dress will be a fishtail style (I'm having it altered), it is strapless, satin and the bodice is covered in crystals.

I want my hair half up (so it is off my face) with soft curls.

Unity candle/sand - I'm not sure what this is for?

I looked at loads of photos on the internet and spoke to friends and family about what they had seen and liked at weddings before I decided what we were having. We also spent ages going round different venues before we found 'the one'.

As to OPs questions...
Our venue is 3 old converted barns with a lovely garden and Castle ruins.

Our ceremony is at 2pm, followed by a meal at aprox 4.30pm (which can be ANYthing we want, chinese, indian, bangers & mash, cavary - you name it!) and an evening buffet (again, any theme we want).

Haven't 110% decided on a dress but the one I'm leaning towards is a-line with a sweetheart neckline and gorgeous beaded/laced straps which sit on the shoulder.

Not sure about hair-do yet but I'm not having a veil - tiara all the way!

Its ok Sapphia. I just figured no one liked me or they were busy. Busy is ok. Very lovely colors, theme, and everything The Unity candle thing/sand is when you light a candle (You each have a stick of candle) and you light one single candle. It symbolizes the unity of undying love (in this case flame)

Well we went to see 5 venues for the reception after the church and easily got it down to just 2 but now i'm struggling to decide between the two because they're both totally different and offer different things. Did anyone else have similar struggle. x

Aww that's so nice i've finally decided on the venue i fell in love with it too but was just worrying about costs and that as it's the more expensive one so going for the nicer place you only get one day so no point regretting it at least i'll know i had the best wedding i could have in our budget. We're so lucky we can have dream wedding so going to enjoy it now. xxxxxx
