Hello ladies. About 2 weeks ago I lost my third pregnancy (I have two kids already) at 7 weeks. They never found a heart beat and a fetus, just a fetal pole at my 6 week check up and then I naturally miscarried at almost 8 weeks at home. I stopped bleeding 4 days ago and since it was natural miscarriage and no D&C the doc said medically there is no reason for us to wait until next cycle. THey checked my blood levels and the hcg was 500 on last week friday. I took a pregnancy test and its still positive, although not dark positive but like medium dark....I guess my question is how long until the negative test do you think? Also if I get pregnant this cycle what would be signs? I feel that the pregnancy test would be unreliable this time around since my hormones might now reach 0 if I am trying to get pregnant and most test only need about 15 hcg to detect pregnancy. What do you recommend I do? I have started drinking fertilitea to get my hormones in order but was just wondering if any of you ladies had any advice on getting my hormones down and how to detect pregnancy if they dont really go down? Also can I ovulate if the hormones did not go down yet? I would think not. Since I dont even know when I will ovulate (my normal cycle is any wehre from 31 to 35 days and I ovulate on CD17 - CD21) I am not quite sure what to expect. SOrry for the rant and I appriciate any responses.

So sorry for your loss :hugs:
Most women do not ovulate in that first cycle as hormones are all over the place. I am in my second cycle post MC and I'm not convinced I ovulated this one either. It's such a guessing game.
Personally I have always waited one cycle before ttc again so there is no confusion. However if you do then there's no reason why you can't, it just may be harder for you to detect a new pregnancy. With my last MC I tested once a week until the HCG had gone. Took just a little over two weeks. My beans heart stopped between 6-7 weeks. Hope this helps.

I'm so sorry for your loss.
We tried straight away each time. With my later losses it took a while for the trsts to go negative but with my 5 week losses it only took days.
Each time I got pregnant again straight away with no period inbetween. I did worry that it was left over Hcg at first but the trsts gradually got darker and bloods confirmed the new pregnsncy.
Best of luck

I'm in my mc cycle too. We were told we could try before af if we wanted. I did a couple of hpt and got faint lines but on cd19 (ERPC as cd1) I o'd! It's normally cd13 and I knew there was no hope in that so I was using opks and temping. If charting is your thing I'd say do that as it gives you an idea of what is going on. We bd when we felt like it, my libido went through the roof at O time, so we might be in with a shot! Good luck!

So a week of no bleeding I started spotting yesterday and today. Its light and mostly brown. Should I be worried?

It depends how far along you are for how fast you hcg levels drop.
I was 5 weeks when I had a natural miscarriage and 3 days later my levels were 2. I wasnt that far along so my levels dropped quickly.
You ovulate after your hcg levels go back to normal

So bleeding stopped awhile ago and it seems I'm ovulating today or so but we decided to wait till a few cycles to get my body back on track.
