Just curious really, i always thought id get married in white, then when looking for dresses i thought no no ivory, i found 'the one' yest and its oyester :happydance: i think in any other colour the dress wouldnt look right.

So what colour are you wearing ?

Havent decided between white or ivory. White can be quite harsh on pale skin, but I'm quite olivey skinned on the body so might get away with it...mmm!

Mine's royal blue! White, ivory and pretty much any pale colour completely wash me out so I ruled them out from the start. I look best in blues so I picked royal blue. I will have an ivory splash in the skirt though!

Beca

Mine is Diamond White which is halfway between ivory and white. I originally wanted a white dress but when I was trying them on they didn't suit me and the pure white ones looked 'cheap' i.e the material looked not as good as the other colours.

Mine is Diamond White. I agree with Belladonna the pure white in the dress I have didn't look right it was to harsh and looked cheap!

I think it does depend on the dress and your skin tone to.
Oyster sounds lovely though hun Glad you found 'the one'!!!!

My first was orange, with black around the edges and teal designs. My second is red with white hibiscus flowers. Totally not traditional.

I thought I would go with ivory but my dream dress turned out being light gold! I have a pale complexion and the color just looked perfect on me! I love it!

mines diamond white- again between ivory and white. It suite the style of the dress and also, if I use some dove gradual tanner it looks gorgeous.

My wedding dress is ivory and my dress for our legal ceremony is teal blue!

pearl with eggplant belt/sash around the waist with tons of beading!
