My mum and FOB, my mum was incredible, FOB wasn't too bad either. Although he did fall asleep just as I was about to push. In all fairness he'd been by my side and not slept the 3 days I was in labour. If he hadn't of been there we wouldnt be together today
my mum nd my grandma were mine... they were bloody amazin... even if i ever have another baby i'd still chose to have them there as opposed to fob... they knew exactly what to do nd were amazingly supportive!
xx
I don't I WANT anyone else at my birth? My mother or grandmother would be lovely, but they lives literally on the other side of the world and well ... this is intensely a private experience. All my closest friends are men (grew up with brothers and well ... seems I have adopted more 'brothers' along the way). I just don't think they want to be part of this?
Anyway - I guess I wonder why does not need a birthing partner? I will have a C-Section for medical reasons .... so hardly something I need someone else to watch?
(probably sounds really odd, but I don't quite get it? Maybe its because I haven't never done it before and I am missing something)?
my mum was mine i didnt want her there in the begining as we dont get on that well but i think she woudve hated me forever if i hadnt had her there in the end plus she brought me loads to eat during my labour and brought me loads of extra food for the 5 days after that i had to spend there so it was a good choice for me to have my mum there. i had offers from other family members (aunties) but i felt bad taking them from there children to help me deliver mine
