Firstly, I'm sorry to bring up old pains for those of you who have had multiple losses. Nobody can understand how hard it really is unless it's happened to them.

What I want to know is what did your Dr. do to get to the root of your problem?

I have long cycles caused by ovarian cysts. I was prescribed Clomid to help me ovulate and got pregnant on both cycles I used it (Sept 2013 and Dec 2013).

M/c my first pregnancy at 5 wks. Dr. said it happens and I would probably be ok next time.

My second pregnancy is in the process of ending the same way. I am between 5-6 weeks again.

Dr. kept an eye on my HCG this time and it was slow rising.
I asked him to check my Progesterone. A friend of mine had 2 m/c and low progesterone was to blame, so I figured it was worth checking.
Dr. checked my progesterone and it was in the range for first trimester.
He asked me later why I asked him to do that. That seemed weird to me. Isn't this something important that should be checked anyway?

Anyway. My insurance only covers 50% of anything infertility related.
If my current Dr. refers me to a specialist, I will be paying for half of anything they do...and that will be in the thousands :-( And I'm just not a wealthy person.

Any advice, experiences etc. anybody would care to share with me???

What should I expect/ask them to check?

- I think my tubes are ok as I have become pregnant twice.
- I think my pre-pregnancy hormones are ok as I had them checked shortly before I got pregnant.
- Also my vitamin levels are all good.

Could it be a problem in my uterus?
A hormone my Dr. didn't check?
Bad eggs?

Again, any sharing would be appreciated if it is not too hard to talk about.

Thank you, ladies xo
