What do dr browns bottles actually do?

What my husbands colleague recommened dr browns bottles and has given us one to try but im not sure what they are meant to do?
We have quite a grumpy baby who screams a lot for no obvious reason! Hopefully this will help??

It helps with colic and belly aches/gas by getting the air out

yeah the straw is supposed to take the air out. My Lo was immediately better on these

my baby boy does brilliantly with the dr brown bottles. alot less wind after bottles

I bought these after a day of using tomee tippee bottles and my little girl is so much more content.infact not a peep from her today, feed and sleep and that is all.id really recommend them xx

We used them with DD1 and they certainly helped but I've found mam bottles A LOT better!
