What do you dress ur baby in?

DS now 5 months and he still has sleepsuits at night and I think he will for some time yet. He usually only wears these at night. Mostly cheapy ones from Next or Sainsburys.

For day I find rompers are best. He has a few two piece outfits but I don't put him in them as much as tops always seem to ride up ( but he does have quite a fat belly, maybe that's why lol!). I like to buy nice rompers for day though as I like to get different ones as all the babies at the weighing clinic seem to be dressed the same. Maybe I am a snob! I mostly use JoJoMamanBebe and a website called Little Sunflowers which often has sales so works out a bit cheaper. Bob & Blossom is lovely too and I have a few bits from there as I like matching hats.

He has a lot fewer outfits now though as when he was in 0-3 he had far far too many and he never got to wear them so now he has maybe 10 day outfits and 6 sleepsuits.

He has been wearing 6-9 for a while though as he is a podge but thankfully he slowed down a bit as I was buying clothes and he only wore them a few weeks.

Callie is 2 months, she wears sleepsuits at night and in the day, either a dress or leggings and a top.

Pretty much just onesies. We don't go out much as the sun is too deadly right now and it's too hot.

Besides, any outfits I have are for 3-6 months, and LO is still pretty small for her age, and they are too big on her.

Layla wears sleep suits and gowns all day. Of course I change them whenever she vomits spills milk etc. Any time we are leaving the house or having visitors over I make sure to dress her up in really cute clothes. Dresses, shirts, skirts, etc. and accessorize with headbands.

Most of Layla's clothes are size 0-3 months because everyone told me I wouldn't need newborns. That was totally wrong. My baby girl will be 4 weeks tomorrow and she is still in newborns. She was born weighing 6 1/2 pounds. I can't wait till she gets to wear 0-3 months clothes I found some of the cutest clothes for her while pregnant.

I use the sleepsuits pretty much all the time, but i have some really cute ones and stuff that keep him warm if we go out because its winter.
I find shirts & pants annoying at the moment cause i have to keep fixing them up.
But i do sometimes put him in jeans and top outfit.

Mekai wears sleepsuits at night, in the morning I get him dressed - if we aren't going out I tend to just put him in a fresh babygrow. If we are going out he wears proper little outfits =)

for the first 3 months alfie lived in sleepsuits and soft 2 pieces. Now during the day hes in linen shorts, denim jeans or board shorts. t-shirts, polo shirts, cardigans ect..for bed he has iether a sleepsuit or PJ's and his grobag.
Hes nearly 9 months.

My LO was in sleepsuits and vests for the first month. Now she only wears them to bed. She wears casual clothes eg rompers at home and little outfits / dresses when we go out. I try to buy comfortable outfits so no jeans or stiff fabrics yet.

My dd is 2months and i dont tend to dress her in anything apart from a sleep suit if we are staying in. If going out, its usually a little outfit. When she was newborn, it would just be sleepsuits really or little soft jersey tops and bottoms. I feel strangley if i were to take her out in a sleepsuit now it would feel as if i were taking her out in her pyjamas!

Usually vests and rompers/trousers, occasionally a dress. She's 6 months.

Tops and trousers during the day, vest at night. I generally try and match her up with her sister as most of her clothes are available in her sisters 9-12/12-18 size too

I just thought there was someone else with you babies names! :dohh: too bloody early!!

It depends on the weather really. In hot weather it tends to be dresses whereas in warm weather its cardigans and leggings.

For the first month it was all body suits, she went through at least 5 a day! It was summer time so sometimes just a nappy was enough. After that it was mostly body suits and when we went out I'd put a dress on her. Up until she was around 6 months old she was always in either a body suit or sleep suit in the house and a dress to go outside. After that I usually had her in actual outfits because they were just too cute and we didn't go out enough so I wanted her to wear them all the time! Now she's a year old and I dress her in full regular outfits every morning, take it off to eat though otherwise it's a mess, and put her in leggings and a shirt to sleep in. I get all her clothes from Next and they're just too adorable to not wear every single day!

ETA: Sorry I forgot to answer the actual question of what specific types of clothes I dress her in. It varies a lot I'll dress her in anything I think is cute. Sweaters, hoodies, jumpers, shirts (short sleeve, long sleeve, mid length, strappy), jeans, leggings, tights, skirts, shorts, trainers, furry boots, sandals, anything! I mostly like to put her in dresses or jumpers with leggings or tights. I've only got her one pair of jeans and they are adorable with cute little patchwork detail all over I love putting her in those!

Sleepsuits or bodysuits for bed.. Depending on the weather.

Through day.. Rompers, dresses, top and shorts/cotton bottoms. I don't like dressing LO in jeans

Same here, i don't like my babies in jeans until they are at least walking.

Sleepsuits for the first 2-3 months, then I started putting her in trousers and tops etc when we were going out but stayed in sleepsuits when we were at home, now the weather is warmer she sleeps in a t shirt or just her nappy at night and wears a top and leggings at home during the day and when we go out I change her into a dress if its warm and a top and light trousers if its cooler, oh and I always carry a blanket when we are out just incase she gets cold xx
