What do you have in your diaper bags?

Hi I'm trying to decide on a diaper bag.. but have found myself in a bit of a dilemma. Some are enormous whereas others are very small.. what do you all carry in your diaper bags? So I can decide which size I should look for..

I have the following:

12 diapers
3 bibs
2 bottles
1 formula dispenser
2 pjs' and 2 onesies
1 bag of wipes
1 sudocream or vasaline
1 emergency kit(teething meds, tempra , colic)
3 toys
my wallet and other important papers for baby
1 extra dummy and about 20$ each time just incase

the bigger the better trust me lol....you will need...nappies (diapers) wipes, bibs, change of clothes, sterile bottles, powder formula, blankets, soothers, travel change mat, muslin squares..cant think of much else. also the bags with different compartments are very handy, find things alot quicker. hope this helps x

Nappies, nappy bags, wipes, sudocrem, blanket, hat, bib, gloves, change of clothes, tissues, changing mat, cardigan, water (for me), plus all the stuff I would normally have in my handbag. It came with a bottle insulator thing but I have not used it. Lots of compartments are useful so you can have changing stuff in one bit and feeding stuff in another.

Waaayyy too much- going to have to downsize when I get a stroller!!

About 12 nappies, big pack of wipes, 3 bibs, steribottle & 1 carton of milk (take normal bottles & more cartons when I know I will need them) shampoo, baby bath, talc, sudocrem, dettol wipes & hand gel, nurofen & paracetamol for babies, gripe water, syringes for them, babygro & vest, baby record book, some always pads (just in case!) mmm think that is it! Anything else goes in the basket under the pram!!

- bugaboo clips for car seat
- spare sterilised dummies in sterilised box
- milton wipes
- milton hand gel
- lip barm, hair clips and bands for me!
- red book of notes - birth record

Diapers. Wipes. Changing Mat. Change of clothes. Receiving Blanket. Formula. Bottles. Extra soothers! (Most important! lol) A shirt for myself incase she spits up on me.

I just use a back pack.

OMG military operations going on there! i only take what i need for the journey in hand, but i do have to make sure all her meds are ready,spare syringe etc and boobie juice for that in a bottle etc etc.

i must confess i keep everything in there lol but for the baby..
about 5 or 6 nappies and a package of wipes
some nappy rash cream
a change of clothing and a sweater and hat and sometimes a pair of socks
baby paracetamol if he needs it ( like when we are having a teething week)
a bib
a spit up cloth or muslin
some toys and chew toys
a spare dummy
thats about it i think

The bigger the better! They older they get the more you'll need, and get one with lots of pockets, the more organized you can keep it the better. In mine I have:
For Baby:
-about 8 diapers, (depending on length of outing)
-changing pad
-wipes
-diaper rash cream
-baby powder + lotion
-bib
-burp cloth
-bottle
-2 bottles of water (one for me, and a room temp one for baby so we can make more formula in car if nessisary)
-formula powder (3 section container, each can hold enough powder for 8oz serving)
-pacifier + pacifier clip
-1 or 2 toys
-extra onesie
-socks

For Me:
-Wallet
-small sketchbook
-small notebook
-pencil + pen
-hair brush
-cell phone
-lip gloss
-camera

Though if I'm just running to the store or something I don't bring as much stuff.
