What do you really think of internet cheapie's??

In the last 3 days i have been using some cheapie tests from ebay (babymad) and have had every possible result....
I have had evap lines.
Lines that have come up straight away and stayed.
Lines that have come up straight away then disapeared.
And no line at all!
Its enough to drive me insane!!


what experience have you lot had with these tests, are they really worth it? I know there cheap, but worth driving me this mad..?!

I've found they're pretty rubbish until HCG increases past 25 or so.....even then I don't trust them!

Good for the POAS addiction though, it saves the pocket I guess, I'd have be broke by now without them

i got some from baby mad, they are rubbish. i got pink lines on them one day & nothing the next!

I bought inexpensive tests from this site: https://accuratepregnancytests.com/ and they worked great for me. I think they are relatively sensitive to the hormone level but I know for me, my level wasn't quite high enough initially but as the days went by the line got darker when I retested.

Ive only used them the once & they all came back pos apart from the one. I did all 10 within a few weeks & eventually around 6/7wks the test line was really dark. But i do prefer the CB digis has it tells you with words.
I have got to admit i enjoyed watching the test change when i dipped it & saw the second very faint line. But i was so shocked i couldnt remember what a pos looked like!
I think i would use them again

they where ok for me showe only a faint line when other tests showed alot darker but all the same showe a posotive and was correct considering the price differance then they aint bad

I am a total POAS addict & I think they are good to keep costs down, but if I need a definitive answer, I always use an expensive brand.

I guess if you wait until AF is late, the IC's will usually show a decent BFP tho

I'm afraid I can never wait that long

I've bought some internet cheapies from babymad ready for when we start TTC. I hope they work but wouldn't be be surprised if not at the price. Also bought some cheap CB's to use as reassurance if/when I ever get on the cheapies

i buy mines from ukfertility on ebay. They are very reasonable priced and quick delivery. They sell ovulation strips as well. I didnt get to use them however as I have just found out (using 5 of their cheapy tests) that I am now pregnant

I've used the babymad ones and I think I've only ever had 1 evap (and it wasn't there in the time limit but I can't help checking later anyway!) I've had lots of bfns, and bfps from 10dpo with this pregnancy so for me they've been really good and saved me a fortune x

I think they serve thier purpose. They are good for a POAS addiction. I wouldn't trust them by themselves though.

for early pregnancy detection, i think they are crap. they are a mighty fun addiction though, especially for the month you get your BFP, because watching it go from nothing to barely there, to really dark is just so much fun that you could never have with expensive tests. they are really insensitive in my experience though, i was getting nothing more than an evap lookalike when i got a BFP on a digi and a clear line on a FRER at 10dpo. i pee on them now though, at 8 weeks, and i get a fab line!

so yes, they are good fun but not good for reliability. i have had billions of evaps on them, it is all part of the fun.

i love how much fun we're having with the ic's!!!! i just decided that after i got pregnant in january (ended in m/c) that the $100+ that i spent on tests while pregnant was just too much. so i ordered my first batch of 60 opk's and 40 hpt's, and i can't wait till they get here!!! i'm going to POAS guilt free till the cows come home!!!

i have also purchased the 10mUI from babymad and i had some strange things happen...
1. got a at 10DPO
2. from 10DPO got all the way till 14 DPO it just disappeared!! lool
3. The line is not dark early...so if your really looking for color then dont get those ones. any other test i used was dark on the dame day!!!

If you want to test just to test and can handle seeing then use them if not use the cassette or midstreams!

well i havent heard great things about the opks and hpts from baby mad but i will recommend the opks and hpts from amazon (homehealth) i used them for 2 cycles and on second cycle was preg first cycle i missed my intercourse timing so who knows if id have got it right it may have happened first time x x

I've used baby mad ones and they have been fine. Make sure you haven't got them stored anywhere hot or in the sun, can make a difference.

oh yeah did forget about that heat and col can do weird things to IC and all brands of hpt and opk, i just think sometime the IC's maybe just a little cheap so u cnt expect the best from them all the time like u expect from a more expensive brand like CB or FRER xxxxxxxxxxx
