Okay, so both me and SO really liked Emma and Olivia for the little one, unfortunately, no matter which way i dont think they sound good together. So ive been really trying to find middles for each so we could have two names to choose from once shes born...heres what ive got....

Also, id like to add that Emma means " all embracing" and i thought if i could find something that meant faith, love, grace, etc that it would be a really cute meaningful name....so if you guys know of anything. Havent put down please let me know....

Emma kate
Emma Marilynn
Emma Jewel
Emma Journee
Emma Gray
Emma Julianne
Emma Raine
Emmalynn Olivia
Emmalynn Belle
Emmalynn Penelope

Any and all suggestions are welcome and would love to hear what evryone likes and doesnt like. Also, we really like Emmalynn Belle, but her intials would be EBT, and we are in the US, which ebt is our foodstamp program, as would any middle name with a p be EPT, pregnancy test, and an A middle would be EAT....do you guys think the intials are important enough to forgo a name you really like?:winkwink:

Ok well my fav is Emmalynn Kate. I just like how that combo sounds...I like Emmalynn more than Emma, but her name could always be shortened to Emma for a nickname so you would have the best of both worlds ( just my thought)

I do NOT think the initials thing would deter me from my fav name. I like Emmalynn belle and would never even think about ebt. Nor do you really ever just see the three initials. ( I can't even think of one case I've ever seen my girls initials like that...)
So I would say don't worry about that and just pick the two names you like best. Good luck!

Lovely names, although I prefer Olivia to Emma.

Olivia Belle
Olivia Rose
Olivia Kate
Olivia Florence
Olivia Raine
Olivia Ray
Olivia Violet
Olivia Eve
Olivia Everly

I love Emma but I think adding -lynn to the end of it takes away from the simple beauty of the name. From your suggestions my favourite is Emma Kate but since you want it to be meaningful how about Emma Faith or Emma Grace?

Emma kate
Emma Raine
Emmalynn Belle

^ I like these 3

Well there is

Emma Faith
Emma Kathryn or Kathleen (Kathryn and Kathleen mean pure)
Emma Joy
Emma Grace
Emma Michelle (Michelle means gift from God)

Those are the names I can think of with meanings closest to something you seemed to be asking for.

I also agree with Steph that adding the -lynn takes away from the name Emma. I think Emma is such a beautiful name.

Out of your list, my very favorite is Emma Julianne. Plus it looks like Julianne means a form of grace.

We both love the names Olivia and Emma, but can't use Emma because it's been used so much on both sides of our family already. Is Emmalynn a real name? I've heard Emalyn before - are they pronounced the same way?

Olivia Kate
Olivia Jane/Jayne
Olivia Penelope
Olivia Madison
Olivia Faith
Olivia Rose

Emma Louise
Emma Juliet
Emma Voilet

I thought of Emilia as soon as I read Emma.

My favorite on your list is Emma Gray. It just helps sound more modern IMO. But I also like Olivia Rose as a pp suggested. I have an adorable niece named Ema Louise, but then again her middle name is after her grandmother, so I'm a fan of the name anyways.

I would avoid Journee...It means day, in a really matter-of-fact way, not in any particularly poetic way...as in bonne journee (good day).

I would go for Emma but I'm not a fan of your middle name choices. Emma Olivia seems fine to me.
