What do you think of the name..

Ila. It's unique, which we both like, and it sounds very pretty. It's pronounced as eye-luh if you weren't sure.
We already know that her middle name will be Rose, because it's my middle name, my mother's, grandmother's, and so on. So her first & middle name would be Ila Rose.
What do you think? ​

Its spelt Isla hun, it's a Scottish name. Ila just looks like a misspelling, like you've forgotten the s.

Isla is a lovely name though, and very popular up here in the highlands of Scotland. I think it's beautiful.

Ila is a name in its own right - not an alternative spelling for Isla. (I've been looking it up)
It is found in a few different cultures - India and France amongst others. It seems it is usually pronounced ee-lah, as opposed to eye-lah, although I've found comments from a bunch of people who are called Ila, and they all seem to pronounce it differently!
