What do you think of the name?

I like the name. I thought about aiden a few years ago, but now I have 3 friends that have sons named aiden so it was out of the picture it got really common where im from in the US. So little mans name is haiden, which is very close.

Aiden is a gorgeous name :) we couldn't use it as a close friend already has an Aiden and it's likely they'll be mates x

hi bumpbuddy we've not spoken yet lol. hows your pregnancy going. not long :D

Hey Hun how ru? I'm ok yeah just over two weeks to go I must admit I'm getting very impatient lol I totally agree about not putting names in fb we have only told a very few people our ideas and I've shared on here x

Im good thanks, are you?? I'll have had my little boy this time next week, Im booked in for my section a week today, I dont know how Im feeling it's a bit weird, Im not excited, Im not scared (yet) I just cant get my head round it!! I'm a little worried as one of the girls has gone into labour and I really want my bubs to have the name I chose lol Im probably worrying over nothing as they probably already have a name lol xx

I love it! If our Bean is a boy he's going to be called Aidan. It's been my fave boys name for years and isn't overly used here in the UK x

I've got a niggling feeling it will be used a lot this year, I think it's getting popular! I preffer the way we've decided to spell it too AidAn not AidEn even though you say it the same :)

My OH wanted a irish name in respect of his grandfather who passed away shortly before we found out I was pregnant and I was like 'but I like Aidan!!' then we found out its Irish also so worked perfect

Its a lovery name

The only thing id be weary of though is people insisting on calling him aj it would really annoy me but guess it depends how you feel

Lol why would that annoy you?? My OH is Andrew James and he only gets called it by a couple of people, and thats only cause his facebook page is AJ Mac and they only know him off there (my dad's G/F calls him it and my dad ocassioanlly does)

I dont think it will bother me...but to be honest I never even thought about it :)

If I was having a boy his name was going to be Aiden Leon.
I love Aiden James, it really goes together!

Emma, both our families are predominantly irish so we love irish names  Spelling it AidAn is the irish way

If we do indeed have a little guy in here, his middle names will be 'Thomas Robert'. I wouldn't normally give two middle names but I always planned Thomas as a middle name as that is my dad's name, was his dad's name and is my brother's middle name, so a big family connection on my side. Robert is OH's grandad, who sadly passed away a few years ago, who he was very close to. I considered Thomas as the first name with Robert middle, but Thomas is very popular (high up in most popular name lists) and I just love Aidan anyway :haha:

Basically because its not his name we did consider corey jacob for our lb but i didnt want him to be called cj

I guess with a nickname you get called it once or twice a day but i could see aj etc becoming used more than the actual name
