Josha for a boy?

DH and I are struggeling to find something we both love.

I love Elias, Ezra and Isaac but DH is not convinced. He hasnt really suggested anything as of yet.

We both like Josha but I wonder if it's kinda weird in a not quite Joshua kinda way?

To be honest before I read the end of your post I assumed that you had misspelt Joshua. I think that you would get people glancing at his name and assuming that its Joshua so you be correcting people a lot.

Thanks for your honest opinion. I know, you're right it is just the only thing we kinda agree on... :-/

The only mitigating-ish circumstance I suppose could be that we live in a European country where Josh or Joshua are not used

Any suggestions along the lines of Elias, Ezra, Isaac?

I think if Joshua is not used where you are, then that's different. I'm not sure on Josha but I think that's because Joshua is used a lot here.

It definitely looks like a typo on Joshua to me but it's a fairly common name here, so it might not be a big deal where you are.
