So my bubba is sleeping and for the very first time I started reading 50 Shades of Grey.

What are you reviews on it? My friend gave it to me and said I will make my husband next week very happy when he returnes home. Apparently I will get new ideas and will be "steamed up" as she said. Is this true? :haha::blush:

I absolutely loved the first one! I was almost a little shocked at the filth at first and in definitely not a prude! :)

The second one was ok and I didn't finish the third one as I got bored of it lol!

The first one is definitely worth a read...enjoy!!

X

To be honest I only got about a quarter of the way through the first one coz I found the actual writing really rubbish.

Oh yeah, I agree the writing isn't great and I got abit irrititated by him cupping her s*x lol but I still enjoyed the dirt! Bit of blue for the mums :)

The actual storyline and writing is bad in my opinion. I did kind of enjoy it and was vaguely curious about how it ended so read all three.

But yes, you may end up making a 50 shades baby :haha: I reckon there are probably quite a few out there!

Haha. Thanks! My friend said that she read the first one fast and the 2nd a bit slower. She still needs to read the third one. Well, I'm horny anyway and I haven't read the book that far yet. I think it's because my husband's been away for so long! On top of that I am beyond broody and want another one. haha

I personally think that there are better books out there. I have a couple from Ann Summers and they are loads better x

Such as lol?

well, I've just gone to look what my books are called and they are gone!!!

I've been sleeping in the spare room for the last few months so that I am closer to LO and I sleep better. I keep the books in the side table next to our bed in the main bedroom...

I'm hoping DH hasn't thrown them out...well there's an awkward conversation when he gets home...'where are my sex books' :dohh:

I bought them from the actual Ann Summers shop. I've just looked online and there doesn't seem to be any similar so maybe you can only get them in store. the front of the books are mainly black and red. One of them had a lady sitting on a desk with her legs crossed with a man standing in front of her. I can't remember the pic on the other one - clearly not my favorite :haha:

hmm, worried now about the awkward conversation...

the most boring and repetitive book I've ever read. didn't even bother with the other 2

I could not finish the second one as i thought the writing was horrible! I feel the same about twilight

I read into the fourth chapter and I am done. I don't like it all. Lovemaking with my husband is tender and this in the book is very harsh to me.

I got these months ago and I've only read 100 pages so far, just not had chance to read much. But I did think it was great so far :)
