im a dog groomer - I LOOOOOOVVVVEEEEE my job . I wish I would have found this passion years ago ..

Before LO I was teaching English as a foreign language. It's not that exciting.

I'm trying to get myself into photography now.

I'm 'between vocations' at the moment lol

Prior to having babies I was working in Heritage. I loved my job and really enjoyed every minute despite the fact that it was very well paid and could be stressful. When I got Pregnant with my first I was bullied out of my job by my boss and lost a lot of my confidence. Since then I'm bounced from job to job in customer services, call centres and shops trying to make a living. I'm currently pregnant with number 3 who is probably our last child. My hubby is a full time student but has just accepted a summer/ongoing job driving buses (what he used to do before starting his degree) to tide us over while I'm baby making.

I have a lot of skills, but there are no jobs that fit in with my family so I have no choice but to take retail/admin/cust service jobs until I'm able to commit more time or go back to re-train. I had wanted to go an train to be a veterinary nurse, but we recently found that my allergy to cats has returned with a vengeance and I just wouldn't be able to do it. I trained as a dog trainer but nothing ever came of it.

I'm a trainee Archivist, I work 4 days a week and study for a Masters part time which will make me an Archivist on completion (well a qualified one, I would need to find an Archivist position too lol). Love my career, I'm a history graduate so I love working in the heritage sector, I work in a university at the moment and love working with students as I used to want to be a teacher, in my previous archival job I used to help people with local and family history so there's a lot of variety.

Self employed creative Designer. I make jewellery, tiaras, wedding accessories, paint, keepsake toys and quilts, I write for Craft magazines and teach, demonstrate crafts and do public speaking.

Your jobs are all exciting I just do paperwork lol me and oh have cars garages so kinda just run them. X

Qualified nursery nurse, but at the moment I just work in a shop as its better hours and flexible so I have lots of time with my baby son. Xx

I summarise medical records and am slowly moving into admin and working on the reception side of things. Xx

I farm, we have beef cows and a couple horses. I love it, but I hope to give up horseback riding soon!:haha:

I work with people addicted to drugs/alcohol

There's a whole range of fields covered on here, everyone is so diverse :)

X

Im a qualified childcare practioner but now Im at home with my son. Want to retrain to be a counsellor x

I'm a Quality Assurance Analyst (i.e. Software Tester) for a big bank...

Student RN. Not very exciting there's tonnes of nurses out there.lol.but I find it very interesting and there are so many different types of nursing I can do(community, practice, hospital, careflight etc) but I prefer the hospital setting while I'm young as I like a challenge.
Next year when I go full time if I keep up the same grades I could apply for medicine and have an interview but still deciding if I want that much responsibility

I work in social housing as Business Support to the Director of Housing and love it. I do alot of research on subjects like welfare reform and tenant participation. I also get to play with spreadsheets most of the day, which I love, producing reports for the Board on how we are performing. I've been told I'm getting promoted soon too which is exciting!:happydance:

I'm a PA to 4 sales guys in the Investment industry. I love my job, it's very stressful at times however the perks make up for it :winkwink:

I'm a wannabe mural/theatre painter. I do get jobs but mostly do voluntary work ATM I kind of 'ruined' my career when I got pregnant age 21. I had had a few west end jobs before then... Don't for one second regret my kids though.

Now that mojo is in nursery I'm trying to set myself up a mural business... It's hard though because I have schizoaffective disorder (schizophrenia plus bipolar and depression put simply) and I keep getting ill :-(

I'm just a secretary/audio typist for a firm of (ssshhhh) accountants. Been there 9 years, like the people and the job is well paid but its not exactly my dream career haha.

Went to college and did fine art AS & Art and Design but kind of partied my way through 2 years of college instead of knuckling down! I draw in my spare time though.

I also wanted to be a vet at school but fainted during a tail amputation when I did work experience at a vetinary hospital so ticked that one off my list haha.

A lot of my friends have turned to cake making and beauty (fake tans and nails etc) and do this on the side of their primary jobs. So there's always ways of doing new things for a living and most of these kinds of jobs just require practice and/or a course.

:)
