What does it mean when women say they're bump has popped & when did it happen to you?

I always hear people mention this but don't really know what that means?! I don't remember my bump suddenly appearing with my son?

Very confused! When did you 'pop'?!!

I don't know, but I'd like to find out too!! I can feel like a harder lumpy bit in my belly now which I assume is my uterus, but I don't yet have a bump to speak of.

Popping is when your tummy grows a lot in a small amount of time. For example, last week I was totally flat tummied, and woke up on Monday with a definite baby bump. You will know when it happens.

I popped yesterday!!!! I could see that my belly had got bigger but to know one else could really tell (I’m normal a uk size 8 so quite small) but today i have a very round very hard belly that wont fit into anything and is very noticeable! I am now visibly pregnant and not just bloated

I didn't 'pop' till last week. although i had a little bump it could be easily hidden - now its out and proud lol! and about time too! x

Yep, happened to me, beginning of 15th week you couldn't tell for sure, people made way for me at the airport by the end of it.

I think 'popped out' is exactly what happened to me.

mine was exactly the same 2 weeks ago you wouldnt even think i was pregnant really but over night this really round bump appeared,even OH woke up n said where the hell did that come from hehehe

Well I don't really recall this happening with my daughter but I had last week off work and went back in today and they were all so shocked by the size of my bump.

I had a very noticeable bump anyway but they all couldn't believe how much I'd 'popped' in the last week. I now have a very large round bump all at the front like I have a ball stuffed up my top!

Hmm I'm not sure if I've popped yet. At 16 weeks I flew from the UK to Malaysia - I left UK with a flat stomach and landed in Malaysia with a little round bump! But even then, up to now still not many people can tell I'm expecting, only those who know me can kind of see my little bump. Maybe because I wear loose clothes? I'm wondering if I will pop some more soon.
