Sorry for asking such a stupid question looking for a part time job for my sister and have come across a nice sounding job that's 16hours a week £13,000 per annum?
So was just wondering what it means

It means per year, The 13,000 a year will be full time rate(38ish hrs a week) so she will earn approx £5621 per year. This shouldn't be taxed though as its under the limit you are allowed.
Help it helps, but if it makes no sense let blame it on the fact i'm ill ;) lol
xx

Ahh that makes a lot of sense thank you very much x x

it means per year hun 13k a year does sound a lot though so that mite be the full time rate of about 38hr a week iykwim unless its like a super duper job that pays really well lol my job as a financial solutions advisor used ot give me 12k per annum that was at 40hr per week

Yeah per annum = per year, does seem a lot for 16 hours a week  It may say "pro rata" which means the £13k relates to full time hours.
