what does your 3 year old weigh

What is the average weight for a 3 year old. DS is 3 in two weeks and only weighs 28lbs, is this too light?? He does not seem to have put on weight for yonks. He has never been a big eater but some days it is a struggle to get him to sit down and have a meal. He is so pre-occupied with other things eating just does not cross his mind. Any tips for a fussy do not want to eat toddler?

Actually got Aymen weighed last week and although he isnt 3 yet, he isnt far off, he now weighs 32.6lbs.

Hes gone up 2.6lbs over the past 2 months which i was pleased about as he was 30lbs for ages.

Aymen is an OK eater, he has his days where hes a bit less reluctant to co-operate and he likes what he likes so sometimes in order for him be guaranteed a meal he'll eat, i stick to alot of he same variations.

My toddler would rather do anything than sit and eat a proper meal.

OMG! My boy is only just 2 and weighs in at 32lb!

He is tall and skinny too!

Do toddlers not gain much between 2 & 3?

Megan is 3 1/2 and finally 30 lbs. She is tall too... This is the healthiest she has looked in 2 years so I think she must be slowing down inches wise.

Callum weighed 30lbs last time we weighed him (a few weeks back). Hes quite tall with it though and even though he eats well when he lies down his ribs stick out, think cos hes constantly on the go he burns it all off! xx

Esther is a little one. She's 3yr 9mths and weighs about 29lbs. She is very skinny and shorter than average. She doesn't each particularly well but enough for her as she seems to know when she's full up.

Tom was 28lbs just before his 3rd birthday and at a guess is 29-30lbs at 3.5.

He's been around the 20th centile for weight since he was 8 weeks old so being on the light side is normal for him.

My LO is just over 3 and she is also 28lbs. On her current chart she will be eligible to drop the impact cushion and use the adult belt when she will be 6 years old!!

Mine turns 3 mid August and is 28lbs

People always tell me how big she is. I think people just say that, no matter what! LOL
