Hi ladies, I will be 14 weeks tomorrow! OH and I would like to buy a doppler from amazon tonight, I've heard many women recommend the angelsounds one here on baby and bump but it has no reviews on amazon and we're wondering wether to go for that one or not. We certainly like the price of it! :haha:

What have you used or heard is a good one? Looking to keep price down, we are paying for a wedding right now too! LOL:dohh:

I love my angelsounds doppler. It was only £20 on ebay :D It doesn't have a HB rate monitor but you can plug it into your laptop or PC and record the sound onto a sound editing programme and quickly work out how many bpm the heartrate is :) One of the best things I have bough this pregnancy, been so reassuring :) THey take a little while to get the hang of though so don't worry if you cn't do it straight away. I think I found my little girlbean on the 4th attempt of trying - and that was after haf an hour. Now i can find it in seconds. It is likely to be veeery low at 14 weeks, like start at you pubic hair line and point down. Good luck xxx

I love my sonoline b doppler and it has a counter so you can get a count of your babies heartbeat. I only paid 55 dollars from fetaldoppler.net and that was for shipping and everything. I order late Friday afternoon and it was in my mailbox Monday so if you go that route don't pay for the faster shipping free shipping is really fast.

I'm in my 17th week and we bought a Lindam Baby Heartbeat Monitor. It's been rubbish so far, I've tried a few times (though it says to be used after 20 weeks) - all you seem to be able to hear is the cars on the street outside, and the neighbours talking in your belly lol! It's frustrated me and it'd be nice to hear the baby's heartbeat, so I'm thinking of either buying another one, or being patient and waiting until 20 weeks as the instructions say. Either way, I personally wouldn't advise the Lindam one, so that's my share of input, I hope you get some answers as it'll give me an idea on what to do too! x

sonoline B. i got it from ebay for $52. ive found hb since 10+5 and im a plus size girl.
has given me much reassurance throughout pregnancy. i dont use it much now because i feel baby move everyday but if he's having a lazy day i pull out my doppler. I love it!

I have the angel sounds one from Amazon that was £20.00. Its brilliant, been using it since 14 weeks and had no problems with it.

100% hi bebe :) I always find the heartbeat without fail.... No stress at all :)) x

I bought a angel sound one of here for £10 posted at 15 or so weeks and have found the heartbeat every time I've used it although i am always suprised where the baby is, i thought it would be at the side or on my tummy but its more in my pubic bone area than anywhere! x

I got a Sonoline B and it's brilliant, it cost me £40 off Amazon.co.uk but it works really well and it has the HB rate display, which you don't necessarily need when baby is bigger and you know that you're definitely hearing the baby. I found the hb monitor useful before I was 12 weeks when I had trouble being sure that it was the baby I was hearing.

I also got the angel sounds at 15 weeks and have found hb straight away every it,e it's great for reassurance!

I also have Sonoline B and love it! Have been listening to baby's heartbeat since 8.5 weeks and it has really helped to calm my nerves. I think I paid $50-$60 on ebay. I have both probes (the 3mhz and 2mhz) as well. The 3mhz is the only one that worked early on, when the HB was harder to find...but the sounds are lighter with that one and sound far away. The 2mhz is not quite as sensitive to finding baby early on, but the HB is MUCH louder with it once baby is big enough. I started using the 2mhz at 12 weeks and found baby with no problems, and I usually find HB right away...unless he is moving a lot at the time. If I can center it right over where his heart is then I can hear all the chambers--it's an amazing sound! I've found that I can find him best first thing in the morning, after I go to the bathroom but before I eat or drink anything (I think he's still asleep and that's the reason).

Thank you so much for all your responses girls!! We're so undecided we didn't even buy yet! LOL I think tonight we're taking the plunge!! I'll let you know what we decide!! haha
