I think, I have all my baby furniture. Moses basket, baby swing, bouncer, etc.
I deffo have all LO's clothes for the first 3 months at least and I have my bottles and steriliser (although I plan to breast feed).

In a few weeks I get my maternity grant, so I'll be going on a shopping spree to get all the last bits and bobs then. But, I'm wondering what I need.. Like essential things that I may not have thought of.

Obviously, nappies, wipes and...

Help?

You might want to use some of that money for a cotbed, we found our moses basket didn't do for very long before DD was stretching it from all directions!! Do you have muslin cloths? they are brilliant!! Can be used for absolutely everything!!

Here's some stuff my mom gave me that I didn't think of...

baby grooming stuff
baby washcloths and baby hooded towels
burping cloths
receiving blankets
extra cushy baby blanket for tummy time
Some simple infant toys

You might want a breastfeeding pillow for yourself...

Those are just some suggestions...you may already have a lot of that type of stuff.

Depends on what you want really. Things like dummies, baby bath, baby toys (like soft touchy feely type ones that rattle or have crinkly material in them), baby gym... ummm. Not sure haha. I still need to get a few dummies just to have in case... when we went for our 4d scan he liked to suck his fingers so I think he'll need them haha. Baby towels and flannels, blankets, muslin squares.

Ummm... nappies.... I've been told by a couple people to only get 1 or 2 packs of size 1 nappies because unless you have a small baby they grow out of them fairly quickly. I have a big box of size 2 nappies I got from Asda baby event. And LOADS of baby wipes lol. I use baby wipes for everything even before I was pregnant. They're perfect make up removers and leather sofa cleaners No doubt I'll go through thousands once Harrison is born lol.

If your on a budget you dont really need a baby hooded towel - or toys right at the start. I didnt get any as i mainly got what il use in the start then buy as i go as il know what my baby likes.

Im getting some cloth wipes on ebay as there super cheap and u can use it to wipe spit too

I think everyones pretty much covered it all .

Dont forget to get essentials for urself ie things for ur labour bag i got abit carried away thinking about baby and still havent got enuf for labour bag lol x

definitely some sort of cot or cotbed for when the moses basket is too small. Ikea sell a cot for 35 pounds which is perfectly fine. Plus mattress of course.

Bedding - enough sheets and blankets for the moses basket and also for the cot. Get cheap ones and buy extra as it is better to have more changes than not enough. Supermarkets sell them in pack of two for a fiver and 5 pounds each for a cellular blanket.

It is funny that we are due the same day (even though I will have a section a few weeks early) and I have only bought one onsie....

I did the same with going crazy recently, I'm 27 weeks now. Did nothing at all till 25 weeks and in the last 12 days have accumulated quite a stock already!!

You’re going to need an infant car seat! We had to borrow at the last moment! Have you got a baby stroller? you can get one from ABaby..they offer some of the most affordable range on car seats.
