what gestation do you have section

With my son I caught an infection at 36 wks they were reluctant to do one even though a normal could have given him brain damage or worse. They sent off blood work then 2 wks later called bk said results would be another 3 weeks so to go in 4 days time at 38+4 for section.

I plan to have an elective this time to but as this has no health risks at what gestation do they normally do them?

Yeah usually around 39 weeks, had my LG at 37 as had problems.
