What happens next after 5 rounds of clomid...

I'm on my 6th round of clomid now..obviously no such luck yet, I don't understand why I am not pregnant yet...what are my options if clomid isn't working and WHY isn't it working...anyway in the same boat and found some sort of solution..?

heya hun - like you i have 6 rounds of clomid and am gearing up shortly to start taking round 4 !! no changed this end either not sure why its not working though ...
over here , if this dosnt work for us then we have to go back to see the FS in december and then he will put a refereal through for us to have IUI/IVF as that is our only option. have you had any tests done? tubes checked etc?X??

Hey, I am coming to an end of my 6th round. If it doesn't work this time for me the doctor has recommended injections but I won't know too much until AF does/n't (due 02/09/2011) come and when I call and have the next appointment.

I was told the same as princess lou, that injections are next.. I haven't started my first clomid cycle yet, so still hoping it works, but obviously its no garunteed so have thought about whats next ...

Could you maybe ask about Femara? I've heard that a lot more women respond better to that over clomid.

i am coming to the end of mine now i was on 100mg not a sniff of a bfp but my last dose i have left i have took 50mg in stead off the 100mg so i have 50mg left if this month fails fx i dont need my other 50mg if all fails i am doing egg sharing with ivf or iui x x x

I havn't had any tests done, I was suppose to do the Clomid Challenge this month, but I was in another state when that was suppose to happen, and thats to see if I need my tubes checked and what not...so I probably can't do all that until next month! UGH
