I'm 18 weeks tomorrow and have bought two sleepsuits and a dress lol. I e already got the cot from my DD as we're moving her into a single bed. I've still to buy a double pram (we've decided on the britax b-agile), the car seat, isofix base, Moses basket, bottles, clothes, steriliser etc

We stupidly sold most of our DDs stuff as we were going to wait 5 years until I've graduated oops. Oh well, love an excuse to shop.

What have you ladies bought so far?

Iv bought a tshirt and a baby sleeping bag because they were both in the sale, that was weeks ago now though and thats it.. Lol i have a cot that my daughter is in (cot bed) so she will be getting a single bed, my cousin gave me Moses basket, crib and jumperoo, so i just need to get new mattresses and bedding for those, my SIL gave me a steriliser so i just need to buy bottles, and i still have my silvercross travel system, so im pretty sure i dont need to buy loads of stuff :/ im waiting till i find out the gender to buy clothes and bedding etc

We've bought loads in the past 5 weeks, before 20 weeks we only had a few neutral sleep suits, breast pump & a Moses basket. Now we have the cot bed, pram, loads of outfits, bouncer, car seat, changing bag etc. Only things left to get now are some chest of draws and mattress which we are getting next week!

We already have:

Pram/buggy travel system with a car seat
Better car seat (birth to 12y) with isofix base
Lots of babygrows and vests in different sizes, as well as hats and socks etc.
Two outfits with dresses and leggings etc
A few packs of wipes etc which we have picked up cheap
A sleeping bag
A hooded towel
A play mat with baby gym

We are waiting on our cot bed, baby wardrobe and baby drawers with changing table to be delivered later this month.

Tbh we have most of the big things!

So hijacking here.

I didn't have a lot of fancy stuff with my son, so since we already have stroller, crib etc. I thought I'd get the aden + anais swaddlers.

I got 6 of them, the jungle print and the other animal print as well with the caterpillar and the frog.

-aden + anais swaddlers (1x4 pack and 1x2 pack)
-cloud b sound machine - sleep sheep (travel size)
-solly baby wrap in mint green

Since I am still in my first trimester I won't be getting anything else until my 12 week scan. But so excited I didn't have any of those plush sound machine toys with DS1. We regrettably bought everything in blue and did it all boy lol! Even the stroller but I think it will be okay if LO turns out to be a girl.

Also we are team yellow, so will be buying most of the clothes after birth. We gave away all our son's newborn clothes as well so we have nothing lol.

I've got most of her wardrobe up till 12 months. I just need to get some sweaters and some leggings, pants and socks. I also need bath stuff and a winter coat and some shoes. I'm waiting for sales to buy the big items like stroller, crib etc. I also need a breast pump, but I'm waiting to make sure I can breast feed, because not everyone can. So excited!!!

Just some clothes so far. We don't really need much as this is our third so we have all the big things. Nearer to the time I will get the stuff for my hospital bag/ post partum and think about things like bottles, dummies, nappies

Our whole entire nursery had been finished since week 24 lol
We have clothes for baby up till about 12 months, diapers for a month or three and elephants in every corner of the room....yep, I went overboard  The only thing we're waiting on is the glider to come in (another 4 weeks if that), but that was a special order item.

Just maternity clothes and a pregnancy jornal so far, and I probably could have put off the clothes as I barely even have a bump.

We have most of everything already after having 2 kids of each gender, so we don't need much, but DH refuses to buy baby items or even think about names until we know the gender :( he's no fun

We'll only buy a few onsie sleepers, I'm not having a shower soI'd expect people mught bring clothing to the meet n greet party that my mom hosts for us.

So far the following items:
  • Angelcare double pad movement & sound monitor
  • Halo Deluxe bassinest
  • Pura Kiki bottle set
  • breast pump
  • breast pump bra holder
  • Nurseryworks Loom crib
  • gender neutral sheets
  • Lillebaby carrier
  • nursing pillow
  • Rumparooz cloth diapers
  • diaper pail liner
  • diaper pail
  • rail rider change table (avoiding buying chunky space hogging furniture)
  • diaper pad & covers
  • diaper bag
  • lanoline nipple cream
  • breast feeding tea (apparently it works quite well)
  • 2 pairs maternity pants
  • bottle sterilizer
  • vibrating baby seat with swing & mobile
I might use our slow cooker as a bottle warmer. What we still have to get is the car seat (prob go with the Grayco 35) and we may get a stroller - Uppababy Vista. On our trip to Europe in March we saw mist people baby wearing so we'll try this and if it doesn't work we'll get a stroller. Will prob be our christmas gift.

Most of my item have been gently used or bought on ebay for a fraction of what they sell for in retail stores. The sheets I got are from Target on clearance and the crib was only used for a year -was our best purchase at retail for $599 and bought for $150 with all the newest safety compliance features. We plan to take some holiday time in Ireland to visit family while I'm on the year mat leave and the funds we saved by not paying retail prices will help us with that trip.

We've also put the down payment on a local photographer. She's going to do both pregnancy & newborn photos for us.

Oh I Almost forgot, I just invested in a maya ring sling and a wrapsody hybrid wrap. Can't wait, all we need is baby now.

Oh gosh. I can honestly say I have bought nothing!! I have stuff from when my little girl was a baby but as of yet we don't know what we are having (find out next.week hopefully) and my husband says we should wait till then......

Wow some of you ladies are organised haha. I better get my skates on. Oh yes, we have the angelcare movement monitor already from DD. what a great monitor. I love it.

I started buying at 12 weeks. So far we have some Clothes, moses basket & stand, some bedding and blankets, bottles, steriliser, change mat, some muslins and bibs, a sleeping bag, and some nappies, wipes and cotton wool and a bath support.

I kept the moses basket and cot etc when we had DS as we bought all neutral things knowing that we may have another baby at some point. I also kept a few newborn white vest, tiny hats and scratchmitts and sleepsuits which DS only wore a few times so i wont be buying anything now until we know whether were team blue or pink. My mum has bought a couple of bibs, a blanket and sleepsuit too though

We are done. Got everything we need.

Hey, congratulations. :) Things I found life savers with my twins were musical baby swing and changing table! Bending and crouching doing double the nappy changes and dressing etc doesn't half do your back and knees in! I found the baby swing kept one more settled than a regular bouncer when I was trying to sort the other out. I would say don't go over board buying double of things. I found I got by perfectly with 1 play mat, 1 walker chair, 1 door bouncer, 1 play pen, 1 rocker. I just stuck one baby in each and swapped them after 15 mins or so! The least useful thing I had was bottle warmer. Took longer to heat up the bottles than just sticking it in a jug of hot water.

My absolute biggest bit of advice is make a chart. Write down each babies feed times and amounts and each nappy change and wether it was wet or soiled as it can be difficult to remember who did what when and when the health professionals ask it is much easier to chuck a chart at them!

I'm 15 weeks tomorrow and we've personally only bought a pair of baby Nike's and a pair of socks! We've been gifted a nappy bag and some swaddles and a cot blanket, but we're waiting on doing our clothes shopping til when we find out the gender. The nursery furniture and pram etc we're waiting til after we move next week! Can't wait to start properly shopping :)

I'm 19 weeks and I have purchased 6 gender neutral outfits (team yellow), swaddle sleep sack, a set of 3 muslin blankets and just got the car seat on thursday!
