Today has been one of the hardest so far and I need to try and give myself abit of positivity. Whenever I need a boost or am feeling really down I listen to music. I think it really helps... So thought I'd start this thread in the hope that you all have songs that help you through the hard times too, or songs that just mean that something special to you.

These two songs make me feel the loss, let me be sad and help in their own way:

I'm not sure how to upload songs on here and can't listen to yours maybe cause I'm on iPad but still wanted to post, I seem to listen to sad songs to make e feel better evenif it oes ake me cry sometimes
I love DIAMOND RIO-ONE MORE DAY we played this at my grannies funeral but I've listened to it a lot since my mc on 10/7

I also love THRIVING IVORY-ANGELS ON THE MOON the lyrics are probably quite strange but I still love it

There's prob loads more but that's the two that come to mind I hope you enjoy them let me know what you think, an if you's read this can you tell me what your songs were since this stupid iPad won't let me thanks x

I must be a bit strange, miserable and angry songs make me feel better. So... The Damned 'Smash It Up'. I also find it therapeutic to make bread - the thumping and the kneading really makes you feel less peed off at the unfairness of it all. Hoeing hard soil also works.

Thanks... I think music helps express feelings so much better than anything else sometimes, even if the words don't fit exactly, its how it makes you feel.
I love your songs, and listening to breakeven I started to cry about everything too.. so I can add that to my playlist..

No, I totally agree!!! Sad and angry songs work for me too. I've never tried the making bread or gardening idea, but I know if I'm really upset or angry then I clean alot.. obsessively. It's like because I feel all over the place, I need order somewhere. Scrubbing helps me.
Thanks for letting me know all your songs, I'd really like to keep this thread going, so any day that I find a song that helps me, by making me happy or sad, I'll put it on here.
I should probably apologise in advance for my awful taste in music though..
