What is the meaning of your baby's name.

So, I was just curious and thought it'd be fun to see why everyone picked the names they picked for there LO

My baby's name is *Emmalyn Alexis*
Emmalyn is for my great grandma who was a big part of my life growing up.

and, (Alex)is ... is for my little brother (Alex)ander who passed away on April 2nd 2011.

Can't wait to hear everyone elses

We are calling out little girl Isabelle Rose.

Isabelle is just because we liked the name, Sean originally wanted to called her Amelie but i was 100% on it so i told him to go back to the drawing board and think of another and he came up with Isabelle . The rose part is because it is my Nans middle name and she means alot to me and was there a big % of my childhood.

Seraphina - Just a name we liked. I was searching through names one night (before I even got pregnant ) and stumbled across it. I immediately fell in love with it.
Nicole - Nicole is my SIL's middle name. Each one of our kids has a middle name after a family member and we thought Nicole sounded nice with her first name.

I'll do my other kids' names too just because I can.
Aiden - Just another name we liked. At the time I had never heard it before so I thought it was great. I didn't realize that everyone else had the same idea, too.
Thomas - Thomas is my OH's first name, so we thought it was the most fitting middle name for our son.

Madalynn - Mady's name was a name I liked that I could incorporate my middle name into. My middle name and my mom's middle name is Lynn. So we spelled Mady's name with the double 'n' at the end for that reason.
Ann - Ann is a family name...my MIL's middle name is Ann and so is my grandma's. I am not thrilled with all the Ns in Mady's name, however the other other name we were going to use would have made her initials MMM, so we decided that was a bad idea.

Our boy will be called Aston Jake. We picked the names cause we liked them rather than meanings but here's the meanings:

Aston - Noble Stone
Jake - Supplanter

I actually like the meaning of Aston though thinking about it

Robert is OHs middle name, and his dads, and his grandpas etc...

If our baby will be a girl, she might be Sofia Mia Noelle.
Not sure about middle names yet but we are pretty sure about Sofia. OH wants her to have a scandinavian name as Im scandinavian. I think origin is spanish tho but in scandinavia we use that spelling more.
and middle names are just ones we like.

If its a boy... Really dont know!!

I'm calling my little girl Olivia Lily
Olivia because I REALLY like it
And Lily as a kinda tribute to my mum, who passed away a year ago. It's relevant to her name and such x

Elena - "Bright, Shining".
We chose this for lots of reasons. Firstly, we traced my family tree back to Italy and it turned out my Great Great Great Grandmother (or something like that) was from a little place called Pisa and her name was Elena. I fell in love with it straight away! It also has the same meaning as my name, which was kind of sweet.

Iris - "Rainbow"
We chose this cause its the name of mine and OH's song, Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls. We thought it sounded nice with Elena.

Rose - "Flower"
This is OH's mum's name. I thought it sounded sweet with the other two names. I regret using it now though, because it has become a really popular middle name for all little girls. It seems that almost every little girl has May, Rose or Grace in the middle. I prefer uncommon names, so I wish I had chose something different. But I like that it honors family

Emerson-Justin and i's song called moments was playing when we were thinking of names and the bands name is Emerson drive and i was like what about Emerson and we just feel in love with it.
Eric- this is my dads name and i wanted his name in it

Martin- this is justin's middle name so he wanted this one

abigael rose, we just like the name abigael, and rose is My middle name...i didnt want it so much but my OH loves it hes always calling me megan rose and wants it to carry on.

I actualy have the meanings in my signature my LOs name is going to be
Azaria(Az-uh-ry-uh) which means gift of god. I saw this name and fell in love with it, then read the meaning and it basically stayed top of my list until I narrowed it down and just choose it!
Noah This means peaceful and long lived. I choose this name because my baby brother passed away almost 16 years ago and I've always- as long as I can remember- wanted to give that name to one of my kids.
KingsangThis one means pretty much just King/Ruler I choose this name because FOB is a different culture- Palau'n- and in their culture they give a name from their language/family/culture as a middle name. FOBs is Ngchelobel, which means warrior, and his grandpas name is Kingsang so decided to use a family name.
I plan on giving any future kids family names also- if I can find any to use

MICHAELA is a hebrew name and it means "Like God" and ROSE is my aunts middle name (she named me) who passed away from cancer.

Gage Christopher
GAGE is just a name DH liked and CHRISTOPHER is DH's first name and my brothers middle name.

Corey is OH's middle name and since LO will have my last name, I thought I'd let OH pick the name.

Lane is my best friends middle name who passed away last December.
