What is this brown CM and why have i had it for around a week??

I know brown CM is due to old blood but i have had it now for over a week and my AF still hasnt shown!!
Its really annoying me, i had hsg done over 2 weeks ago maybe this has caused the problem????? Any ideas would be good please..

I havent had a HSG but as you know I do also have PCOS, my last cycle was 65 days and i then had a day or two of spotting, then about a week of brown cm, then more spotting, then nothing then AF after about 2 weeks of all of that.

I dont know the answer but i assumed it was a PCOS thing.

I actually had brown cm yesterday and its gone today and i am only on day 14.
