What is too soon?

Ok so my question is really should I give up this cycle? I have no symptoms what so ever... From ov to 8dpo I had really bad pains in left ovary and across pelvic bone then at 7dpo i had what I thought was implantation bleeding. Heres tmi but it was barely anything it only showed once when I wiped tinted pink cm and red blood flakes. Now i'm 12 dpo and 5 days past what I thought was ib and bfn is it still too early?

Thanks! And yes I didn't get a positive until my af was due 16 dpo and still then it was faint my hcg level was only 24 that night. But still having what I thought was af pains my husband is military so i'm waiting on my referral to go see my obgyn to make sure everything is ok!
