What is your dream job?

Realistically (after many more years of grad school): Clinical psychologist.

If I could go back in time and study something completely different: Midwife or L&D nurse.

I'd also be okay with owning an awesome baby boutique.

I'm a student midwife so that :)

Being an author bookstore owner would be awesome.
I've heard midwifery in the UK is stupid hard to get into, like 1200 people apply for 100 places! There's a website I stumbled across that had some good tips for you guys :)
(Not sure if I can mention it directly as it's a forum =/)

Hmm, my dream job was to be a graphic designer, studied that and didn't enjoy it as much as I thought. My next dream job was to be a freelance makeup artist, studied makeup and did that for a while which I loved until I had the babies.

I'd love to have been a brain surgeon, just because it sounds cool to tell people that. But I would never have the stomach for it!

^^ your never to old if it's what you want to do.

I've had my dream job I was a ballet dancer. Now all I want to do is be a mummy hopefully adopt a child and be a foster mum . And ride horses with lo. We will hopefully have a small holding going soon. X

I want to write novels. I currently write 'Novellas' upp to 50k words, but I'd love to publish independently. And then I'd open a Publishing agency. But I wouldn't do any of the business side I would just decide which book we were going to publish.

Dani Tinks, it's never too late!! A lot of practices actually prefer to take on older students, rather than those just out of school or college, I know I prefer having the students that I don't have to 'look after' all the time :winkwink:
Having said that I've just got home from a 12hr shift with 10 mins to bolt my sandwich without even sitting down, I got pee'd all over by a dog who had a stressful recovery from GA and needed a hug and look like I've been self-harming with all the scratches from the cat who didn't appreciate his vaccination!

I want to be a farmer :D All-natural, organic, ecologically responsible, plants and animals being raised healthy, as nature intended. A little patch of heaven to raise my son on. Hopefully it'll happen within a few years, I can't wait <3

Dream job in the career path I'm on... I'd love to be a specialist nurse of some kind. Maybe a Diabetes Specialist Nurse, as it's something I'm interested in.

If it was a kinda "nothing in my way, have my time over again" thing then I'd like to own a coffee shop  The kind of little independent place where there'd be a bookcase full of really good books of all genres in the corner, free WiFi, people could come in and just chill and we'd have regulars and we'd have big squishy chairs and sofas and it'd be great. Bit random, but there we go! Maybe I'll do that when I retire (if I can ever afford to retire :haha:)

I studied at uni to be a translator/interpreter. I enjoyed interpreting a lot more.
sadly bad stuff happened and I ended up not completing the course. Was 2 years in.

I have no idea what to do with myself

A restaurant critic or a wine taster, getting paid to do either of my two favourite things would be amazing!

I would have liked to have been a vet or a midwife (very nearly was a midwife but gave up just after I had my son!)

If I would have my time again, I would have been a vet :flower:

Pathologist, archaeologist or architect. I don;t think I am smart enough for any of those though :haha: x x x

i already have a career i absolutely love, working with children 3-11 but i would love to take my career in another direction and be a social worker or if not i would love to foster children - whatever i would do it would involve children some how x
