What kind of parental control/restrictions do you use for tablets/computers?

My DD is 8 and is having a tablet for Xmas.

Just wondering what, if any, kind of restrictions I can place on it?

For example she loves watching music/dance videos on YouTube and searching for toys and things on safari so I would rather not block them completely if possible?

I've already set the controls up to ask for a password for app purchases so just wondered if there is anything else I can do apart from blocking access completely?

On an Apple device, you can go into Restrictions, Websites, specific websites only, or limit adult content. Thats as far as it goes there.

From what i am aware there is much more options on android

Just. A case of finding them then, took me forever to figure out where the app password option was
