What next???

Hi Girls,

Please can i join you all?

First let me introduce myself, i'm Lea and i'm 30 and DH is 31. We've been trying to conceive since June 07 and not even a sniff of a BFP.
I've had my bloods taken, an ultrasound (both internal and external) and HSG (Ouch!!) all came back fine. DH has had SA done all good there to.
I was suppose to have a further apponitment at the hospital in April but they are running behind, so contacted them today and they said they would arrange an appointment for me asap (just because i've chased them up)
So i was just wondering if any of you lovely ladies could advise me what the next steps would likely be for us? What other tests etc will they do? What is the next stage for us?

I've been ttc since july 07. I had bloods and dh had sa x2, following our appointment with fertility specialist i had a laparoscopy to rule anything else out. They may not do this if happy with the image they had from HSG and ultrasounds ( i didn't have either of these as fs preferred doing lap).

After all this we have been confirmed as having unexplained infertility. After lap we are now being left for 4 months to try on our own, if we don't get our by september we will join the ivf waiting list and have iui in the interm.

Welcome to BNB.

How long have you guys been trying? I'm not sure what protocol's are in place if it's 'unexplained infertility' - i know my friend was told that she would have to wait for 2 years before they could consider her going on the IUI then IVF waiting list - but then she fell pregnant anyway!

I hope very much you get a natural and the wait isn't too long
