What pram so you have? Would you recommend it?

I had a 4moms oragami (those folding automatically ones) with ds1, u only just got a full refund Aftwr fighting for months because the thing was replaced once and still managed to fold on my son twice and wheels fell off. I used it a hand full of times and then lost my mind

I have just got the bugaboo buffalo last week, ds will be 3 in May but he's a small child so it has loads of room and we are ttc #2 atm anyway

I love it
Can't recxomend it enough so far.
We go for a 5km walk every day so we needed something robust and that could handle rough pavement.

It was pricey but I think it's worth it, saying that I do have a large suv so space in the car isn't an issue, It does fold flat without the seat on it but it's not exactly compact

I have the graco fusio and I wouldn't recommend it, I don't like it at all and wish we had researched a bit more first xx

We have the silvercross pioneer and I wouldn't reccomend it. It steers about as well as a shopping trolley and body builders would struggle to get it up kerbs.

I've had well over thirty Oran's with my older three. I was an addict and nothing was perfect. This time I researched a lot and decided on an Icandy strawberry 2. I loved it but the carrycot was small, then there was a fault so I took it back and exchanged it for a bugaboo cham. I love it, like not a single fault for me. It will be the first pram I've ever stuck with.

I've a bugaboo cameleon, a city select tandem and a double out n about. I love love love my bugaboo and out n about both so light and easy to push. City select tandem is great but heavy. I needed the city select as I'm on my own at home, DH works out foreign and I wanted something that I can stick my maxi cosi in and set up super quick. Now she's bigger and very strong she's in the out n about.

I have the Icandy apple and I LOVE it! It's actually not that popular where i live anyways, it's usually the peach you see everywhere.

But i really love mine, the carrycot is very roomy and it's a lovely, stylish, sturdy pram. nice to push, buggy looks nice. it has a big basket and i just really love it.
we did a lot of research into prams and tried a load out before we bought ours.

I never could afford the strollers that cost $1,000+, but the one's I do have I love with the exception of the Grayco. I have a baby jogger vue lite, which is amazing. It can reverse the seat so your baby can face you or face outward. Along with being a really light umbrella stroller. Only for babies who can sit up on their own. The Grayco that I had was just terrible. It was made of plastic and was all rickety. It worked, but was not something I ended up enjoying. At the time when I got it, I was pregnant with my first and had no clue what I was doing. This time around I think I am going to get a Doona till baby is old enough to use the baby jogger. I am going to carry my other baby with a ring sling since I can't afford a double stroller. I should add that none of the strollers I have is for tough terrain. The baby jogger does have supports for the wheels to prevent them from turning if you so choose, but that's about it.

Here is the Doona video, just because its one amazingly designed stroller. Very unique.

I don't have a pram. I have an Ergo carrier. It's an older one and it was second hand and I have no idea how many families used it before me, but it's holding up really well - it's really good quality. I'd recommend that if asked! We also have an umbrella stroller that's a babies r us brand stroller. We got it at our baby shower for our first. It cost $19 and is all we've ever needed in terms of a stroller. For just walking on standard pavement - opposed to trails or going for a jog or something - it's great.

Edit: It's $19.99

I have a Phil and teds navigaor - I love it! It's great for country walks, but probably one for people who walk everywhere rather than having to collapse it and put it in the car, as it's quite heavy / bulky for lifting.

I had a m&p sola with my first - it was good enough, but the wheels just didn't stand up to country roads - air tyres are the way to go IMO. If I was buying it again I would prob have gone for a baby jogger city mini gt.

Picked up the Mountain Buggy Nano as my umbrella stroller this week, the 2016 version. AMAZING. Love.

Now have
Bugaboo Cameleon 3
Bugaboo Bee
Mountain Buggy Nano

My husband says no more strollers haha!

I have an Out n About nipper double... I LOVE it!! I am looking into a decent stroller now as my 2.5yr old walks and I push around a half filled double buggy everywhere.
I had a cosatto giggle for my dd2 and it was awful. I love the big air tyres on my double and dread having ti get a bugfy with rubbish little wheels!

We have the baby jogger city select. It's heavy but sturdy. I needed a double (17 month age gap and my now 18 month old dd has only just started walking) and wanted a tandem rather than a side by side and this was the best one in our budget. I wouldn't choose it as a single if I wanted to use it that way regularly though. I have a Maclaren xt which was dd's and we've kept that for the times when we want a more compact single.

Is it horrible to push up kerbs and get in/out of the car? This is the one were looking at, well have a 17 month age gap too!

Thanks everyone.

I bought my pram today and decided on the iCandy Peach 4 in Truffle - I love it.

I was undecided between that and the bugaboo Cameleon but my Oh preferred the iCandy.

I also got the kiddy car seat which has the ability to lie baby flat if you put it on the pram so it reduces the risk of them sitting in the car seat for too long.

I also got a footmuff, car seat adapters and an isofix adapter for the car.

I'm so happy with my purchase it seemed so easy to fold and I just really liked pushing it and the style. Although when I first fell pregnant I wasn't sure, I totally love it now!

Thanks for all the replies they really helped.

I had a Silver Cross Linear Freeway with my first and although initially loved it and definitely loved the fact the pushchair lasted until she was 3, we have bought a Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe and I absolutely love it (despite having not actually used it yet!)

It solves a lot of issues I had with the Silver Cross and whilst it's not as 'pretty' as the SC and it isn't terribly small when folded (which doesn't bother me as I have a big car)

I'm really looking forward to using it!

We have the silvercross pioneer and I wouldn't reccomend it. It steers about as well as a shopping trolley and body builders would struggle to get it up kerbs.

I also have silver cross pioneer and agree with you. Disappointed. We also have a simplicity car seat - its heavy and bulky. My 11 weeks dd still looks too big for it.

I thought this when my son was tiny but once they're old enough to use it without the foam newborn insert it gets a lot better, the position they have to lie in isn't as awkward. My son is nearly 13 months now and still fits in his. Although being able to carry it with him in is another story!

I have had so many prams, but with my son I decided to do my research and stick with one. We bought a peach 3 and I absolutely love it. It's just great.

Good choice!

We have a Stokke Xplory for DS (18 months) and will be keeping it for our next baby due in August. We liked that it wasn't as common and know that Stokke is a good brand, but mainly chose it because we are both very tall. The handbar is completely adjustable whether you are 5 or 7 foot tall, and the style of the chassis means that a tall person wouldn't bash their shins on anything when they stride, if that makes sense. Also you can have the seat at any height which we love, other buggies/prams look so low down to me know.

So I would definitely recommend if you are still looking at them! The fold-down mechanism is a bit stiff at first, but only takes a few goes for it to loosen up and to get used to it. It's a bit heavy for lifting in and out of the boot, but I don't know how heavy others are so could just be normal. The car seat is great, but if you don't want to go for the full package I don't think you really *need* the carry cot. The proper seat is suitable for newborns and reclines right back, has various 'newborn wedges' etc.

My only slight gripe is that it doesn't convert to a double, and Stokke don't really do a decent double option, but I love it so much we're willing to compromise. We're going to get a buggy board for DS1 and babywear DS2 when DS1 needs to sit in the Stokke.

We got the full chassis/seat/car seat/isofix base/carrycot set before DS1 was born from Mamas & Papas, and then for any extra bits I look on Stokke facebook groups etc. Brand new accessories are a bit pricey but I've easily found and bought the Stokke changing bag, footmuff and parasol less than half the price in newish condition on those groups.

Short story, we love it and have never had any issues. We get lots of compliments out and about, and have only ever seen maybe 4 or 5 others on the street in 18 months. It does a couple of miles every day and still looks good as new, and we don't necessarily take great care of it haha! We've also used it quite a bit for more outdoorsy 'forest walks' as we call them and it's great on bumpy/uneven ground.
