Ha ha, Insane in the Membrane made me laugh! I luuuuuuurve My Immortal, one of my all time faves. She wrote that when she was 14, you know?! I wrote my novel while listening to that song *sigh*

Anyway, mine is 'On My Own' from the musical Les Mis (and this is from a rock fan, ha ha), mainly cos it sums up how it feels when I'm on my own, at night, and dream about having a little boy. And then I wake up and the reality hits (hard) and he disappears and I'm just left with my hand out by my side, and no-one clasping it, thinking to myself 'this might never happen'. So sad when she sings: 'I love him, But when the night is over, He is gone, The river's just a river. Without him, The world around me changes. The trees are bare and everywhere, The streets are full of strangers. I love him, But every day I'm learning, All my life, I've only been pretending!'
