It's been just over a month since the wedding and i have a huge box full of my wedding stuff.
I'm obviously going to keep my dress which i still need to find a good place to store it as its hanging up in LO's room at the moment.
I have my veil and shoes and other various things but not sure what to sell and what to keep??

So what did you sell on after the big day was over?

xx

Absolutely nothing, I kept everything. I put my garter, bracelet etc in a keep sake box. My shoes are wrapped up nicely and my hair clips etc were put in a little box.

Sorry I know that isn't helpful, I just couldn't sell or give away anything from my day. I even pressed 2 of my roses and put them in my box.

I think it's because i'm on maternity allowance and i know how much allot of it cost thats making me think about selling some of it, but i don't want to regret it iynwim.
I saved the diamond pins and skeleton leaves from my bouquet, our wedding day was so hot allot of the roses wilted by the end of it :(

What I would be asking myself is what would I miss? Are your shoes extra special? Would you wear them again? Same for the veil, was there anything special about it?

It's difficult I know but I guess if you have piccies then you can always look back at them in awe :)

I kept most things, all in my keep sake box, Flowers, tiara, fascinator, favours, copies of the invites, wedding shoes, and my hubby has even kept his suit, waistcoat, cravat and shoes.

but I sold my dress : (((( after thinking long and hard, I decided to sell it as I would never wear it again and didn't want it to get moth eaten in the loft plus I wanted it to go to someone else and make them feel the way I did when I wore it.

I have loads of photos around the house, plus I still have a bit of the lacing that they had to cut off the bottom of the dress.

Hope this hekps

I'll be selling my dress for definite, it was £4,000.

Hoping to get arond the £1,800 - £2,000 mark, I'll give it a year till the end of next wedding season. If no sale then I'll reduce the price to £1,200 and see what happens.

My shoes were cheap from the high street so I can wear them again.

Tiara & Garter along with some ribbon and table confetti will be going in the keepsake box frame, which has a guestbook/signed mount from the wedding day.

Jewellery, wearing again of course.

Table decorations were borrowed and returned. Vases with fake flowers have been kept for dining table and spare room decorations.

Flowers were real so they died!

That's it I think!!

i don't think i could bare to part with any of it to be honest lol

All dresses were designed and made especially for myself & bridesmaids so we are each keeping them, shoes well, i most likely wouldn't wear again but they were only cheap so will keep, necklace/bracelet/ear rings, will keep as can wear again, my bouquet is being dried out so i can keep ....

I still have my wedding dress/veil/shoes. I keep wanting to sell, but then I dont. I paid 1,500 for the dress. I already had it cleaned. The shoes were inexpensive so I kept those.

Its been over 3 years since we :wedding:. DH talks about re-new our wedding vows at our 10 yr anniversay. Would like to wear the same dress again

I'll be selling everything that i can't use again!! OK, well most! The dresses (mine, BMs and FGs), decorations, sweet table things etc will all go - not only will it re coup some money to us, but I mayalso in turn help out another bride on a budget!! I see no point in keeping my dress as it'll never be worn again! I will keep a flower from my bouquet, tiara, jewellry etc but memories, pictures etc are far more important to me than having a dress tucked away in a box in the loft!
