Hi, I have just bought some Dr Brown bottles and my daughter is on the Aptamil Comfort at the moment and I was wondering what teat would be best to use for this 1, 2, 3 or Y cut? (at the moment she is having tommee tippee variflow teats)

Thanks

Hiya. We brought dr browns last week and our LO is 6 wks and I found size 1 too slow she sucked and sucked and nothing came out very quick so she is now on size 2 and it's perfect for her.

At 2.5 mnths Omar was on teat 3 with Anti reflux formula xx

How old is she? At first we used size 2 Dr Brown teats with Aptamil Comfort, and around 13/14 weeks we had to switch to size 3 xx

I would recommend the Y cuts, because they're for thicker liquids. We put LO on comfort milk, and we were looking all around for them. We never found them; everywhere that sold the bottles only sold the regular teats, but we eventually found some teats with "X" shaped holes from Toys R Us (don't know the brand though, sorry), and they work really well

Jessica is 10 weeks old, she found the tommee tippee size 2 too slow and the size 3 too fast so thats why we ended up with the variflow. I think i will try the dr brown y cut ones first and if that doesn't work then the dr brown size 3. i guess its going to be trial and error!! wish me luck. :flower:
