"Hi hun things here in the uk take forever don't they. We have had 2 lots of cd3 and 7dpo bloods done and hubby has had his spermies checked out. We go back next thurs to see our gp to discuss results and I really have no idea what else or where we go from here. She did say we will do another round of bloods because they like two sets. I have no idea who they are but am praying it will be a fertility specialist of some description. All in all to get this far has taken since April so god only knows how much longer"
Well me and other half have been quite lucky, went to my doctor(in uk) and she was really nice ;-) we explained it had been 9 months at the time and she started the ball rolling then;-) she asked me to have some blood texts done (for ovulation) had to do this 3 times but I have longer cycles so my first one was done day 18, but I usually ovary day 18, that result came back crap, so she did a day 21 but levels were only marginally higher, then she said to me what day would you like the next one on?? And I said day 26, and that's the highest level progesterone I got. She also asked oh to go to his doctors, and they sorted out 3x sa test, but the doctors give you the sample pots but we had to run them down to the hospital so they could be tested, that wasn't done at the doctors, so luckily his swimmers were already being tested by the best people, coz after all that happened it had been 11 months so she said she had sent my and oh details off for a referral to the fs ;-) and my fs is male and he is amazing, he does everything with you, appointments, internals, surgery and then follow ups to the surgery, couldn't ask for anything more really....other than a bfp....lol so even though it seams like a lifetime trying our journey has been done in a timely-ish fashion.
Were back end of oct for a lap and dye operation done by my fs so should give us some answers 😁
