Excuse the name of the thread...

Me and my ex have been split less than a week, and he has had Paige the last 2 nights and I am picking her up tomorrow. This is obviously the first time we have had to split the time with her... well today (already) he called me and said "I dont want to have her every weekend, I want some weekends off"... wtf? And when he says that, he doesnt mean he will skip a weekend, he wants to swap out all the days and just make things confusing.

We hadnt actually decided on set days to have her, but I told him that it should be the same every week, so we dont upset her routine etc, but all he cares about is himself. He wants some weekends off and yet he still thinks he can care for her 50% of the time. Well, Im not going to be swapping days every week and not knowing when I will have my own daughter.

If it were seriously up to me, He would keep her 2 nights, say Thursday/Fri, and I would get her the rest of the time, then he would have his weekends off (well saturday pm and sunday) but if I were to suggest this, he would start all his shit and say he wasnt getting her enough and that its not fair and why should I get to decide etc etc.

I really dont know what to do without starting a fight about it. I just want my baby all the time, but I know thats not possible... :nope:

i just saw your other thread without seeing this one, you poor thing, i hve no idea what to say apart from he sounds like he's been really unreasonable and you and your little girl will be the ones who suffer. I wish there was a simple solution but it looks like you'll have a fight on your hands, i'm so sorry xxxx
