What things do you do at home?

I don't know if there is already a thread like this but i would like to know what everyone does with their toddlers when they are at home all day.

I get bored of doing the same things all the time so would like some new ideas. I am supposed to be learning to drive so we can get out and about more, not relying on others for lifts as much, but you still cant go out every day.

I also have the problem that jamie is often in his own little world playing and just ignores me when he is playing trains etc.... I feel like i need to interact with him more, even though i am happy he amuses himself a lot of the time, but i dont have many ideas what we can do together. Help Please!

We do quite a lot of baking and also play with a lot of playdough. At your LO's age baking was pretty much weekly. We also do a lot of arty things

Kids love catalogue pictures and sticking them to other bits of paper with a glue stick You can buy some toddler scissors from places like ELC etc

My girl's lik helping with the cleaning, I usually give them a little dusting cloth. Ok not much good at it but they enjoy doing what Mummy is, together.

Recently we've been making our own pizzas (the toppings) so they are not only do they enjoy it but they are making their own dinner

painting ! morgan loves this, £1 in wilko for 5paints and a door handle to paint, grt to keep and cheap , also baking, books, i usually get him involved in my cleaning hoovering etc

Play dough, drawing & painting, we also spend a lot of time on our bed acting silly, jumping, pillow fight, tickling, singing loudly & rolling over. I also exercise at home & he loves to copy me. He spends some time playing with the ipad when I'm busy. he also loves to push his toy buggy & car around the house. We also play with his baby doll, we feed her & put it in bed, we play with his tea set & mega bloks.

When I'm doing house work, I give him his broom & a clean cloth to "help", he also loves to spill water on the coffee tables to "draw" with water, then dry it.

ETA: We'r also playing with stickers those days, he loves cars, so I got him some cars & trucks stickers. we tried baking some pizzas but it didnt work as he hates the feeling of food on his hands, & he ended up gagging while putting on the toppings

Mine like to brush up the floors too ...you reminded me to go and look for small versions. My two would wrap the broom around the other atm ... nope not kidding but tbh when they are in this 'fight each other' mode lately I'm more worried about my TV

thanks guys, we do colouring and he has mega blocks and millions of toys to play with (although he always goes back to trains)

I have been meaning to do some baking with him but i wasnt sure if he was up to it yet, as he puts everything in his mouth still, but maybe now he is. what do you make? cookies was going to be my first, although i'm not keen on him having too much sugar...

i'm not sure if im brave enough to do painting with him yet..... will have to give a go at some point....

We do actually go out everyday, I'd be up the wall otherwise I'm lucky there's a swing park literally at the bottom of my estate so we go there if there are no better options!
At home we draw, build towers and knock them over, practice jumping (that's always good for a laugh ), sing, we dance loooads, I have music on most of the day. I'm trying to teach her to play catch but she tends to just throw the ball at my head and run away. We make dens and stuff, play 'music' on pans, I do a lot of trying to teach body parts but she only ever remembers nose and head, the rest last about 3 seconds.
That's it really, other than playing with her toys!
