If someone invites you to a brunch, what time of day would you expect it to be? Just in general…

Edit: It's a MIL thing. I don't think she and I think the same. Just wondering what others think. Thanks!

10.30/11 I would say. What do you and your MIL think?!

10.30-11.30ish? xxx

Late morning, so around 11am I suppose.

10.30-11.30. Anything pre 10.00 is still breakfast, anything after 12 is lunch!

Thanks, I know it sounds like a silly question, but the restaurants around here do a Sunday brunch from 10:00-2:00 usually. I haven't asked MIL for a specific time yet (she usually won't give me one). It's for Mother's Day (US) though and if it's anything like last year she'll tell me to come at 10:00 and be ready to eat at maybe 12? 1? Right at LO's nap time and I told her we need to leave at nap time (it's a few minutes from our house). Just wanted to make sure I have the right idea about what brunch is!!

Brunch for me is 11am x

Well according to MIL brunch is 12. Why??? Why is that not just lunch? Sigh... LO will be super cranky or asleep (and they aren't set up for him to sleep there). I wonder if she's reading this...
