Before egg sharing I need to have some blood tests, but more than the ones required for normal IVF, anyway my GP said I could have them done there for free and I phoned up just to make sure today because they wouldn't do OHs and they said they would but theres a month to wait for an appointment with a nurse...

Now, I phoned up on Monday to get the appointment for OHs blood tests with a nurse and got one 4 days later, I didn't however tell them what the blood test was for.

So, I am thinking they're just fobbing me off? Because I'm not that important to them they cant be bothered to do them and are lying? Knowing full well if I wait that long it will mess up the whole thing.

One (naughty ) option would be to book an appointment with a nurse, say its for a blood test but not what for like I did with OH but maybe when I get there they will tell me they wont do it? The other option is to pay £350 for them at the clinic and get them done next week.

Also, does anyone know how long it takes to get HIV, Hep B, C, Syphilis, CMV, Chromosones, Cystic Fibrosis, Full blood count, blood group, chlamydia and rubella test results back?

I'd probably pay for them to be done - the GP will need to know what you are having tested and why. If you pay for them you can get the results sooner rather than later x

Had all those tests done recently. They said it takes about a week for the results to come back, about a week for them to be processed.

I had all these for our immigration tests (well, the majority anyway) and they had the results back to me within a week.
