We're going on holiday next week and I'm just planning what to pack...

The plan for the evening is: do normal bedtime routine, then instead of putting her in bed, put her in buggy (with UV shade completely covering it) and she can sleep while we go out for the evening. So I'm just gonna dress her in a sleepsuit and put a blanket on if needs be.

Through the daytime it's looking like it's gonna be around 25-30 degrees.. I've got some little cotton rompers I was thinking would be perfect, and will take a few dresses and tops and pants too. Will she need to wear a vest in this heat or no?? I'm thinking no but not sure.. will have to get her some knickers for when she wears a dress! :haha:

And then the obvious swimsuits, sun hats, sun cream we've got sorted.

I live in a hot climate.

No vest but I would consider some long sleeve cotton tops and trousers to give LOs skin a break from the sun. For smaller babies it's better to cover them than use sun cream. Proper cotton is breathable so it shouldn't get too hot.

I'd also advocate changing LO's nappy more frequently than you would at home as their bums get quite sweaty.

Also don't forget a good cotton hat with a wide all around brim.
