What to expect at a follow up consultation after a IVF BFN?

When I went to mine, it was a chat about how the treatment had gone, and what to do next. Just to talk through different options and what could be done differently next time, eg adjusting dose of meds etc.

Sorry to hear that you 1st treatment was unsuccessful. Did you get any embryos to freeze?

Thanks for replying, No unfortunately none to freeze on the 2 day transfer so they tried to take the rest of them to blasto but none made it.
Had 9 eggs and 7 fertilised

My appt was quite short - and the FS just told us it was technically a good cycle and to use our frozen embryos. It was about a month after my failed cycle and I was fighting the tears so didn't speak much - my DH asked a few questions.

Thanks for asking the question - i have mine coming up soon and was wondering the same. Seems a pointless exercise to me to be honest but i guess we better hear what they have to say anyway! Sorry i cant give you any answers. When is your app?
