Hi Becky

So sorry for your loss

Unfortantley its difficult to say, as everyone has very different experiences. However I can share mine with you.

I MC at 7weeks. I had very light spotting the day before. The day it actually happened I had period pain type cramps which were painful but not unbearable, the bleeding increased but no more than a heavy period. I passed the sac and the bleeding started to subside, 4 days later the bleeding stopped.

I hope that this helps and you dont have any trouble.

BIG :hugs:

I had spotting/light bleeding the first day. Second day heavy heavy bleeding (heavier than a period) with really bad painful cramps that I had to breath through. The bleeding lasted about 10 days. There was lots of clots (tmi-sorry) and it was very heavy. I am sorry for your loss.

thanks to you all for your replies sounds like everyone is different and nothing can prepare you, i am sorry for all your losses it is just so sad.

Sorry for your loss
It's different for everyone and depends how many weeks gone you were.
I had very heavy bleeding for 3 days with lots of clots with my natural m/c last month, I took co-codamol which the EPU gave me which helped alot. I bled lightly for 3 weeks start to finish.
Hope everything goes ok:hug:

I am so sorry that you have had to go through this. Like everyone else has said it is a different experience for every woman. I bled on and off for 3 weeks before I finaly m/c at 8 weeks. Each time I bled leading up to that it got heavier and heavier. The final time was so bad (and that is when I finaly m/c) I was admitted to hospital for two days because of excessive bleeding and severe contractions. I am not saying this to scare you, but if it gets to bad and you feel you cant cope at home then get to hospital. Not everyone has it that bad, and I was told that for only 8 weeks the blood loss was unusal but when it happened my instincts told me that I needed help. Take care of yourself hun, and use this forum as support as it has been great for me. x

It will get heavier. Your cervix has to open up for the materials to pass... that is when it hurts the most, and the cramping/contractions are the strongest. You'll start to bleed very heavily too, filling about a pad per hour. You would want to be home for it.
