amari will be nearly 6 months at xmas, and although she wont remember, and a lot of people say its overrated, id like to remember it!...
so what can i get her, id rather not get her toys to last through IYKWIM.

Iv got her stacking blocks, and im gna get her some clothes, foot finders and a personalised sock, but what else?

mamas and papas are doing some lovely keep sake 1st christmas bits and bobs, elc do some good musical instrument bits and bobs to, just like bells, and rain noise makers ect.

i was wondering this exact same thing.. annie will be 5 months at christmas, so nearly the same age.. and i have no idea what to get her..
as she'll be 6 months, what about some 6-9 months clothes, something you wouldn't normally get her maybe, a nice little party dress, or depending how much you want to spend, maybe a little photoshoot and soemthing christmassy to wear for it, that way, she might not remember it but she'll have fun on the day, and when she's older she can see the pictures, so it's something she'll deffiantly keep..
and for things to open on the day maybe an outfit to wear for it or a teddy to take along as a prop or something?

I think I'm going to do some kind of sentimental keepsake for my little guy (not even born yet!) who will be around 3 months at Christmas. The truth is that our babies probably won't remember it, and I know the grandparents are going to go crazy with toys anyway. Maybe I'll knit him a little Christmas hat or sweater, or write him a letter. We plan to have some professional family photos done at Christmas, which I hope will mean a lot more to him when he grows up. I'll probably pick out a few toys and outfits, but I'm most excited about giving him some kind of keepsake item. It's always been a tradition in my family to buy a special ornament for baby's first Christmas, and mine still hangs on my tree, so I know I'll be doing that. Have fun with it and remember that this first Christmas is more about us (parents) and creating memories.
