What to put on rice cakes / cracker bread?

my LO is obsessed with rice cakes and cracker bread.

I put humous, peanut butter and recently marmite.

Any other ideas?

avocado, pizza (tomato sauce/purée, cheese,other toppings), mashed banana, soft cheese, tuna, homemade salsa?

I shove anything on them really. I love rice cakes

Oh and like today I made some soup so I just popped rice cake in for a couple of secs and the rice cake soaks it all up. Sophie loved it

I used to mash avocado and banana together on rice cakes, melted cheese (you can toast in the oven), cream cheese, any sort of other nut butter (cashew and almond butters are good), tomato sauce and cheese for mini pizzas, dip them in yogurt, you can also make herb spreads with various fresh herbs and cream cheese or butter, you can also make or buy various pates (fish pate is a really good source of fats and essential oils). Just be careful with the marmite. It's got way more salt than babies can really process safely at this age.

Thanks. I should have mentioned he has a dairy allergy so a lot of things like cream cheese etc I can't use but I am going to look at pates.

He hardly has marmite as I concious of the salt. I give it to him once or twice a week and just a scrape so he gets the taste of it.

Honestly, anything. I made my daughter roasted Courgette and sweet potato chunks, but she wouldn't contemplate it, so I mashed it up and out in on a cracker she ate it!
