I plan on being naked I've read that once you're in the second stage of labor, modesty goes out the window.

I'm planning on just a bra.
With DD1 I ended up in just a bra, no clue how or when it happened... I was hot, uncomfortable and well, the clothes went. This coming from a person who refuses to wear shorts in summer as I don't want to show my legs, and up until 2 years ago would refuse to wear t-shirts as I didn't want to show my arms!!

This time I'm planning a home water birth, so not going to bother with clothes.

I had a tankini top AND a swim skirt packed but ended up giving birth in just my (silk) bra. I'd be surprised if you cared at that point...

I gave birth in a just a tank top but tbh I could have been naked or wearing pretty much anything and I wouldn't have cared at the point.

I started out wearing just a thin t-shirt but took it off because I got too hot, and was naked for the rest of the time!

I had to go from the birthing centre to the hospital afterwards to get stitched up for a third-degree tear. In theatre, the surgeon was like, "Don't worry, after we get your legs in stirrups, we'll drape you so you'll be all covered up." I just laughed and told her I didn't care, that I'd left my dignity back at the birthing centre several hours earlier.

I'm just going to wear a bikini top. If it annoys me after a while or when I'm ready for skin to skin and breastfeeding, I can pop it right off.

I was ttally naked for both mine, absolutely could not stand clothes whileI was in labour.

I'm planning a home water birth and I'm thinking I'll just e wearing a bikini top. I feel very strongly about immediate skin to skin so it'll come straight off either just before the baby is born, or immediately after. I'm not sure about my bottom half. I don't fancy climbing into the pool, legs akimbo with nothing on!! I may get in with knickers or bikini bottoms on and them take them off once in there.

i would just wear a bikini top/bra. i stupidly wore a nightdress (as didnt intend on labouring in the water) and it got so annoying when i then had to get out (bubba got stuck).

I have a bikini top, but I'll probably end up naked as I did with my first as I was so hot!! Although this time I have a fan ready!!

I wore a tank top. Then got too hot and took it off. Didn't care in the slightest, despite my Mom, Dad, and sister being there as well as DH and MW.

I hadn't planned a water birth but had one, and got in wearing my long maternity vest top which happened to be white. I got in at 5cm and still felt a bit self conscious so was glad of the length. If you ever want to use what you wear again, white is not a good colour, when I got out the water it went straight in the bin!
