I'm a size 14-16 depending on where I go and I honestly hate dresses because I have horrid legs, even when I was a size 10 i've always gathered fat around my knees so it's even worse now and they are the reason why I never wear dresses or skirts.

I've got this wedding coming up and all I can think about it how awful it is going to be because as horrible as it sounds I don't want to show my OH up because I think i'll look awful. He thinks i'm being ridiculous but I just know i'm going to feel so self conscious and will find it hard to get an outfit that will fit and suit me. I'm only 5"1 so dresses make me look even stumpier anyway.

He said I can wear trousers if I want but I don't want to look like i'm going to the office if you know what I mean? So i'm just sat here and had a brain wave earlier, are linen pants suitable for a wedding? I don't have any but I could pick some up and wear them with a smart top. I wouldn't buy white obviously, but maybe another bright colour. Something like these...

Or do you not think they are suitable? I'm not even sure what i'd wear with them.

I'm struggling because i've got a horrid scar all over the upper of one of my arms which extends to the back and slightly to the chest. So I always try to keep it covered up with a cardigan or something but it's making finding an outfit even harder.

I did consider a dress like this

Please help ladies it's stressing me out. I've never been to a wedding before.

I like linen trousers there's comfy and can look smart, only problem is the wrinkle really easily. How about a nice maxi dress, get one out of the petite section so it's not too long, it'll cover your legs so you still feel comfortable. You can wear a cardi with it?

I was gonna suggests a maxi too. I'm short and hate my massive chunky calves! But I love wearing maxi's, so flattering ng too! Xx
