My DS is 5 mnths on Saturday and wondered what toys or activities that he can enjoy as we seem to be doing the same things????

We have lots of toys. Crinkle books, vibrating toys , soft toys, elc toys, rattles, teethers, mirrors, things in boxes.

But all he played with today was the cat, the tv remote , banging on a box and muslin over his head lol

As Shimmy says, lots of sensory things, we got loads of stuff last week from Asda (loads cheaper than Mothercare), a sensory cube, music box, rainmaker and stacking rings, he loves chucking them all over the place, lol. Pop up books are great and textured books. The cheapest things are really the most popular IMO, you don't have to spend loads. Louis loves the remote too and my laptop, he bangs his fists on the keyboard so I have to put it out of reach now :haha:

My son loves looking in mirrors!

He has lots of teething toys, soft books, an exersaucer, jolly jumper, etc. If you go to Toys R Us or something, just check out the recommended ages on the toys and you'll see there are lots of options !

His favorite toy seems to be water bottles though.... weird lol.

Do you have a Jumperoo or similiar activity centre or bouncer? Was the best thing by a mile for my LO from 4-8 months.

Another LO here who loves water bottles, if I pick one up tp drink the water he goes mental til I give him the bottle. Strange child! :haha:

The Vtech mobile phone is good and sophie giraffe, and I got her the hungry caterpillar rattle which she really loves.
